Antioch probably won't win a game. Comparing them to Stratford mcgavok East Nashville, or Maplewood is not realistic. After reading on here that they have less than 30 on the team I can't see them winning a game.

Thats a shame about WC and HL. They usually have some athletes. Just not enough to compete with the better Metro schools. I hear East Nashville should be pretty good this year. Haven't heard much about Stratford or Maplewood. Both were loaded last year so I assume the same this year. Can't imagine either will be able to touch PC.

Thats a big improvement from last year! They have to feel pretty good about the season if you're beating a 3A school that soundly. Good luck this year

I have never doubted the defense of that team. Just that the offense was vanilla for having such athletes. I'd say they are one of the best metro teams but not the state. I don't think the MBA team that beat them even won the state title that year. When I think of some of the best teams to ever play in the state I think of the BA teams from the 90's, Riverdale in the Rankin era, several of the Alcoa/Maryville teams, 2014 Fulton and maybe even the 1999 MBA team. Again, the PC defense was crazy good. Thats why they were back to back champs

PC will have their way with a lot of teams. Their non region schedule is as tough as it gets.

Good luck to the kids in all of those schools. Clearly the players put the work in on the field. Hate that they'll suffer due to reckless adults.

That 97 team was not one of the best teams the state has ever seen. Their defense was completely dominant but the offense was vanilla. They had bigger, faster and stronger players than everyone else. Thats why they were able to be so vanilla. I got to break down game film against them that year. Whites Creek and Springfield gave them a battle because of the offense. I think, but could be wrong, they scored on defense against WC. That being the deciding score. I also went to 3 of their playoff games. Defense was unreal but its hard to line up in the "I" formation run the toss sweep, counter and ISO against an athletic disciplined team like the '03 Burros. The same reason Stratford got beat by CPA this past season. Obviously a great team but One of the best in the state?? COME ON NOW!!!

Will any of these kids be effected by the investigation going on in Shelby County or is the investigation mainly around Trez?

That is still extremely bad timing. I assume he has a very good reason.

A disciplined, physical team will give PC trouble. If they meet in the playoffs it'll be a battle

What about Mitchell? They could easily claim they were the best 2A team other than Trez

I can't see Glencliff being better than WC or Antioch. I was told they had less than 20 kids practicing in the spring.

Unless the conversation is about losing in Cookeville you should step aside as well. Milan and Trez know how to beat teams up. But in the end it all goes thru Alcoa.

Put it out there fan. Say they school. I haven't reported anyone because it doesn't concern me. I was just letting you know that other coaches are indeed reporting.

I know of 4 coaches in the mid state area that have reported the same metro school. So people know things are going on.

Thats true. Crime in those areas is exactly like Memphis. I know I keep a close eye on my wallet when I'm in Franklin. Good thing I don't make enough to even drive into Williamson County

If Whitehaven really wanted to play BA, MBA, Ensworth or even CPA they would've gotten in touch with those teams before the season even ended. You can be a racist and call the private schools "lily white" or scared of something but they know how to schedule good teams and don't come on CoachT and cry. I've seen BA go from Alabama to playing teams from Alaska. MBA has been to S.C. Union City travels the country playing good teams. So getting games is not the problem. The coach not setting the schedule is the problem. Trying to find games in February for a state title team is ridiculous! The top teams in the country travel all over for games and rarely get home and home.

Isn't PC in 3A now? I can't see Cane Ridge being as good as this past year. They're losing a lot on offense.
