  1. What about that Memphis sweep today...congrats to East, Trezvant and Whitehaven!!!!!!!
  2. Haywood by over 20? Dang, Haywood must be really, really good. Must be state championship material
  3. RE is very well coached. They seem to have the ability to control the tempo of a game...which is attributed to their defense. On the other hand, Dyresburg may be the best team RE has faced. Very interesting matchup.I've only seen RE when they beat Bolivar and haven't seen Dyresburg play...but basing a pick on both teams bodies of work this season. I'll take Dyresburg 28-20.
  4. 34-28 bolivar 00:52 3rd 35-34 Milan 10:38 4th
  5. 6-0 bolivar 10:19 1st 7-6 Milan 9:00 1st 12-7 Bolivar 6:29 1st 3 early fumbles recovered by Bolivar hurting Milan 20-7 Bolivar 8:05 2nd 20-14 Bolivar 7:00 2nd 21-20 Milan 2:41 2nd 28-26 Milan 4:08 3rd
  6. Yes sir...Clark will light it up...watch the youngster, DJ Smith also and there's talk of a little white kid that shoots lights out too
  7. Jamboree.. November 12 at Fayette Ware...come on out and let's get a little preview. Has Bolivar improved enough to be a matter? We'll find out
  8. Not sure who the Crisp kid is that you're speaking of at Bolivar. Polk is definitely a candidate and possibly Jones.
  9. I agree TonyG, but I'm sure the city of Murfreesboro don't like that idea...then there's politics. And if we played on neutral sites as you say...the Memphis teams would bring in a lot more money. West Tennesseans would go watch those games as opposed to driving to Murfreesboro.
  10. I see nothing like that in any of the posts newguy. I don't think anybody is saying FW won't win the district...they should go to murfreesboro this year in my opinion. Anyway, I speak for Bolivar and only Bolivar, and all I'm saying is that we will be improved this year and even more next year. We are young, but if we play like we're capable of playing, we could surprise some folks.
  11. I don't think anybody said anything like that newguy. Where did that come from? Fw in last place?
  12. 2 kids from Bolivar played in the fall league...Keelan Jones and Paris Taylor. From what I understand, Jones was league MVP. Both kids are juniors. Bolivar has like 6 juniors and 3 sophomores that will be very tough to deal with in the 17-18 season. But as I said before, we're much improved and SS and FW better stay op.
  13. Look for Bolivar to turn things around this year. They won't make a big splash until next year, but they will be much improved this year.
  14. Could have easily went either way...very good match up. RE is very disciplined and plays within their means...signs of being well coached.
  15. No doubt, I want my boys to win Friday night...but by no means am I looking past RE. I am looking forward to a good ballgame. Like I said before, Bolivar has consistent weaknesses and I expect RE to exploit them.
  16. Believe me when I say, there's at least 5 other kids from Bolivar "to watch". They have 4 rb's that are neck and neck with each other and a receiver that's probably the fastest and most athletic kid on the team. An den, there's the 6'6" kid that may or may not play...just saying...
  17. Lord help you...you know Jerry Rhodes? That man is a character...pretty good ole guy though. I'll let him know.
