I agree. I'm looking forward to these two days. And I by no means mean to give South Greene an automatic bye to the semis, as I really know nothing about the SC team, SG just seems to have an easier route than the bottom of that bracket.

Here is the bracket. Bradley Central will probably meet Morristown West in the semi finals and South Greene will probably meet Oak Ridge. Though it wouldn't surprise me to see either Jefferson County or Greeneville meeting SG, but Loganville was a good, fast team last year. South Greene showed that they could definitely play with them and I believe could beat them before this season is out, though they fell short tonight. Lamb hasn't been able to find her shot as of late, but she will. It was a good game. There were moments when it looked like SG could have taken over, I'm looking forward to the rematch and they may meet up again at the Ladies Classic.

It may be the first of the new year before any of us have an idea on how good South Greene will be this year. They have some outstanding underclassmen who should begin to play into things as the season progresses. One of their seasoned, senior, starters, Hall, was injured in a car accident. I wouldn't expect him to play until January or even later, And one of the freshman who I would expect to see in the lineup is injured. They have a rough road through Christmas, even without the injuries, as they have mostly, very good, AA and AAA schools on the schedule.

Braelyn Wykle of South Greene should be in the top 25.

South Greene defeated Daniel Boone 63-49. I haven't heard the SG v SC score.

South Greene also defeated AAA Morristown West 3-2 this week.

Better watch for South Greene in Single A. They defeated Sullivan South this week 3-1.

It sounds like most of the state teams, besides South Greene, from this year will be rebuilding. Not that they won't return to state, but I'm wondering about teams that we didn't see at state this year. Any thoughts?

I watched this game 3 times on NFHS and if you watch this film, you cannot claim SG received calls to help them win. Watching on film along with replay and different angles is much more reliable than sitting in the stands watching. There were bad calls in the 2nd quarter against SG that allowed Community to make the run before halftime. I seriously don't think the commentators from TSSAA were FOR SG. Community didn't shoot as many free throw because they weren't fouled as many times.

Leave it like it is with the exception of all privates being D2. The football argument doesn't compare to basketball as they don't play as many games so the extra travel time isn't as big of a factor and they need many more players compared to how many basketball needs. It's a lot easier to find 5 good basketball players than 22 good football player and most small schools have to have football players playing both sides of the ball compared to larger schools. The comparison just isn't the same.

Great game by Gibson County. South Greene had to fight all tourney for this moment due to some amazing competition. I'm very proud of our SG Rebels.

You won't hear 3 peat from me Pujo. One day and one year at a time. Lol. Hopefully we can bring a gold ball back to District 1. The lady Rebs peaked at the right time but they're gonna need another great performance.

Well, you know I'm pulling for the Lady Rebels and I really do believe they will win this. I am glad that it's against Gibson County. I think SG would've liked to even the score with Middleton, but I really like a lot of you GC posters and I look forward to the commentary. ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
