I would imagine so. There was talk about a few players quitting but I don't know if the starting QB was one of them. New QB should be ok. He's young but smart. His brother was pretty good for the Dragons a few years ago.

Game day. Hoping Clinton can improve on last week. Gotta fix those turnovers... Looking forward to seeing the Meigs QB live as well. Hopefully he doesn't do TOO well... Go Dragons

Clinton did look better against Halls. Made some plays and moved the ball. But turnovers and penalties killed... Also, defensive backs aren't that great. I don't know if it's just soft coverage or weak athletes but they've been the weak spot on defense. Front 7 are really pretty decent. #56 and #40 could play just about anywhere. Everyone knows about the offense. Not much to say about it. Running backs aren't bad but blocking is an issue. But they have been opening up the playbook more so that's a plus. Never been to Meigs so I'm looking forward to making the trip down.

34-26 Halls takes it. Turnovers and bad special teams for both sides. Not great.

He's always talked about Shattuck. Opie loves Andy. I don't like the offense. Only because I wish they'd open it up and mix it up more. Those short runs on 3rd and long can get frustrating. But I'm not a coach and I don't call plays so... They show some flashes in every game to be honest. It's just putting together a complete game. That's been the biggest problem I think. They had AC on edge last week. Played a good first half. Game was better than the score indicates. Gotta play all four quarters though. Should be a good one tonight.

Clinton defense has done a pretty dang good job.

This is what I'm thinking too. Clinton needs to get pressure and be aggressive in the secondary, get turnovers. Need a few home runs on the offensive side of the ball.

I think Clinton could make this an interesting game. I like this being played in week one.
