  1. Smart man. He’s got a future and he sees that. I’ll have to keep an eye out for him next season!
  2. Man that's awesome. Great looking kid. He was causing straight havoc in the backfield of McKenzie. You could probably line up that kid all over the field. He looked 7 foot tall out there lol
  3. Not talking about Baskerville. The kid I'm referring to is taller and lankier than #13. He looks like a freak athlete
  4. Not sure on his number exactly, but I think it was #25. What grade is he in? He was a force off the edge on defense with this length and size.
  5. I saw on here that #6 is a freshman. Is that right? Also curious what grades are the other athletes in? #5, #11, #20, #30, #32, #3 are ones that stood out
  6. Man you won't get any out of me either. After this year when we move on back to 2A, the word Cornersville will still resonate in Huntingdon for years and years to come. Its been fun!
  7. I understand that, but not by any blowout proportions like you would think if you read the threads. LC posters putting down Greenfield when they were in a dog fight with South Fulton a couple weeks ago.
  8. I understand the jokes about Greenfield probably being overrated, but it's not like there's a juggernaut over here in the west this year. It's really up for grabs in my opinion.
  9. Who are you expecting to make it out the west this year in 1A? I don't remember the last time it was this evenly matched. I would say Huntingdon, Lake Co, West Carroll, Fayetteville, Moore Co, and maybe even Huntland could all realistically make it to cookeville. I believe home-field advantage will be huge this year, more so than years past.
  10. Enjoy it bud. But in all seriousness, I would be doing the same to keep my mind off Covington lol
  11. Watched the stream of the game on Youtube and something stood out to me. The punt returner for USJ, yes the punt returner, hit someone after the play while attempting to return the punt. I don't think I've ever seen that in my life. And yes he received a personal foul
  12. Peabody and McKenzie moving to 1A next year. Will be tough to get through them the next 3-4 years.
  13. Make no question about it, Huntingdon will roll into Milan on Friday night as the underdog. Milan has good size and speed that seems to be clicking with their new coaches. Huntingdon will try to establish a running game using a handful of backs. None will kill you for an 80 yard td, but they are all tough, sound football players. If Stangs can hold on to the football and limit the big plays on defense I look for this to be a lot closer than all you want to believe.
  14. Watch this year be the year we do it when no one is expecting it lol. But honestly, we have a good group of hard-working, tough football players. I think they thrive playing together and not having the superstars to run the show.
  15. Any chance this game will be video streamed anywhere online? I like watching how them Bulldogs play football
  16. I came away from this game with McKenzie pretty positive with all things considered. Was glad to see them claw their way back after the worst start imaginable against a good 2A McKenzie squad. I also have a feeling that won’t be the last touchdown scored in Taysean Rivers’ career.
  17. Good luck to Riverside’s Malik Cannon. Was a great player for Huntingdon since middle school.
  18. Will the live stream be broadcasted from NFHS or somewhere else? I remember Peabody streamed all their games on Facebook last year. Sorry if it’s already been said in this thread
