Yep, pretty much what BVD said about the young man.

Yep, that's good coaching,the young man made a poor decision and the coach was explaining that he had just hurt the team.I think that was the second pass by the young QB and a beautiful play just ruined by being excited.I know as a few have wrote that different pro games and today's culture have been a bad influence on young men.The saying I always used to my kids was,act like you have been there before. Now,to me there was a much more serious play during the game that could have ended a young man's football career or worse.That crackback hit was one that I would have tossed a kid from the game much quicker then the little punch that got the young man ejected.

I might have enjoyed this Devil game more then any other that didn't include a gold ball . Great win

I look for a very tough and hard hitting game tonight.A lot of pride on the line between these two teams.As I've said in the past, I'd take a one point win in games like this and go from there.It's always better to learn after a close win,then a close lose.Either way, I'm really looking forward to seeing the Devils tonight,a win would make it even better for myself and BVD as we hopefully get to watch this one together.Go Devils !

One thing looks to be for sure.Elizabethton is reloading every year and like the Devils, can't be counted out these days before the season ever starts or until the playoffs end.Great job Betsy ! I look forward to the first and possibly 2nd game this year between our teams, and as always will pull for the best team going forward.I hope it's the Devils but you have most definitely gotten everyone's attention already !

The line has looked really good tonight for WR. You can definitely tell Robbie has brought the North Offense with him.Nice start for the new school.

He has had a tough fight,but brother has been a tough fighter since he came into the world.I mean that literally , what a left hook ! I know his younger YouTube fans probably can't imagine it but when he was a young man ,he benched 400 plus and I personally seen him drive a golf ball over the 395 yard hole we were playing . Yeah,count the roll,but it was a three iron !

There are some awesome matchups this week. A couple of things I really look forward to seeing this week and as the year and years roll along.One is how will West Ridge do and improve in the coming years.Will Greeneville and Elizabethton be contenders for years to come with all the changes around the state.I'd like to go ahead and be a homer there and say yes sir ! Man,looking at their schedules ,it's easy to forget they are both 4A teams.Love what both schools are trying to do.I'd really like to see a smaller school break through this year as well,like Hampton or South Greene. I won't predict but one score however in this post ,Greeneville by one.If it's one point,one score or one dozen scores,I'll take it. I hope for an injury free weekend all around the state ,nomatter what team it is..

The Vols,Devils and the Cardinals.Seems like I remember a "Big " guy who is a huge fan of all three.Oh yeah, it's BVD ! I know your kidding because Greeneville and Elizabethton both played up against much bigger schools in the area for decades.One thing about the young men from all three of these schools,they are not scared of a fight.

You know I have nothing but respect for your program and if 4A is where the Tornadoes land,then folks had start building some new storm shelters around the state, because it will get a lot tougher in 4A.

This is a great game for both teams.Always two tough hard hitting teams when they play each other.No greater fans in this area then my school ( Devils ) and my wife and kids school (Dobyns Bennett ). I've seen first hand how much folks in Kingsport love the Tribe and what they will do and go through for their school. I'd love nothing more then to see both teams win a state championship in the near future. Now , as you mentioned in another post about DB having a trap game ,well those good for nothing state rankings seem to always turn any playoff game into a trap game with DB wearing a Superman ranking or bullseye on their head.. I'd much rather the media who knows squat about football in the area,just not rank DB at all. Just my opinion..

Was just watching Darian Kinnard talking on "behind Kentucky football " .A little mention about Kingsport and Dobyns Bennett at the end.Man what an athlete he is . I'm happy it worked out for him. I remember telling him in the 9th to make those grades because there is no guarantee of staying healthy and making money in football.Well, there may not be a guarantee but he sure has a pretty good chance if he stays healthy.
