LOL Maybe we've forgotten here but the single best wrestler to EVER come out of our state isn't just very very well educated. He's also one of the nicest, soft spoken people I've personally ever talked to. And he went to...wait for it....Baylor.

So because your kids are smart, and because you know a couple kids who are a-holes who went to private school means that they can't get a good education at Baylor? It means that THEY will now become a-holes for going to Baylor? Do you hear how idiotic your biases sound?

I'm not sure they said anywhere in that post that Baylor would offer a better education than DB. What they did say was that Baylor offered them a better opportunity within wrestling.

I don't understand why everybody gets so bent out of shape all of the time at this. Let them do what they think is best for their future.

just a suggestion..but instead of announcing one person per day and us having to do the math on whos facing who maybe you could announce the matchups instead each day? you could still do cool graphics like this though. these are neat

We have our own Who's Number 1 that we do here in TN around the beginning of September. Posting on the forum that you need people to come wrestle in your event doesn't make it sound all that prestigious especially when our own event is by invitation only.

I was told he lives in NC and wrestles at Boom Ranch. I dont think he does or is going to hs in TN

Based on the list of names who couldn't compete or refused to go its easy to see why we're not competitive. Some of these kids could very easily be ranked in the country if they'd wrestle outside of December to February.

At least we get explanations lol. Some of which suck.

Uhorchucks, Atwood, Jakob, Desselle, Fowler, Syzmborski, Crowder, Bond, Calvin, Reep, Roark Askew, Deane, Bowers all would've made us a strong team worthy of contending. Desselle is the only one who gets a pass as he's still rehabbing. Why didnt any of the others go?

I'm not saying Tennessee would've been the strongest state in the field, but we could've contended for a medal with an actual full lineup of our best.

Nobody is questioning Cleveland's greatness. Nobody is questioning their willingness to wrestle anywhere. Nobody is questioning they have the best coaching staff top to bottom. Nobody is questioning their work ethic. All anybody is saying is that money plays a part in all of those points.

Nobody is questioning any of that... ...The point we're all making is that Coach Kramer has done more for Wilson Central than coach Knox has done for Cleveland. And that isnt to say either one is a better coach or that just anybody can step into that role there.

The difference is Foreman and Kramer built their programs, Knox walked into a decade dominance already.

He AA'd in 2008. 2023 - 2008 = 15 When I said d1 aa from TN i was more referring to UTC. The last AA from UTC was Cody Cleveland, and he medaled in 2008, also 15 years ago.
