  1. The Bledsoe vs Sequatchie game is officially sold out. Tickets will not be available at the game.
  2. According to an article from the Chattanooga Times Free Press “One proposal that has been sent to the TSSAA calls for the state's athletic calendar to swap, moving the football season to the spring of 2021 and swapping baseball, softball, soccer, track and tennis — sports that have previously been played in the spring — to begin in the fall with the reasoning that there is not as much close contact between athletes and because those sports typically do not draw the large crowds that football does.” https://www.timesfreepress.com/news/sports/preps/story/2020/jun/29/start-prep-football-season-could-be-jeopardy/526495/?utm_medium=social&utm_source=facebook_Times_Free_Press_Sports
  3. Hats off to the Monterey coaching staff for that onside kick call to start the game. It seem to really rattle the Warriors and gave Monterey some big momentum that they took advantage of early.
  4. Crazy that with all the technology we have today the referees cannot check a smartphone and see that the closest lightning strike in the last hour was 40 miles away on the Tennessee Georgia border with a storm moving to the east
  5. Who will take home the Chief Roaring Eagle Rivalry Trophy (aka The Stump) after this Friday night?
  6. Bledsoe had two starters out before the game began and then had their best player ejected early in the 2nd Quarter after the worse Personal Foul with ejection call in the history of football. You really need to see the video to see just how bad of a call it was. Bledsoe played very sloppy with missed tackles, a turnover in the red zone, and another one backed up which led to Grundy’s second touchdown
  7. I believe Bledsoe County hosts the jamboree this year.
  8. Dylan Robeck He is a sophomore whose family moved down here from Michigan a year or two ago.
  9. They are rotating both of them tonight
  10. Here is an update from the Bledsoe County School System’s Facebook page ANNOUNCEMENT: Bledsoe County High School will be filling the position of head football coach with an Interim for the 2018 season. We feel that an Interim at this time will cause the least disruption for the players and the football program and will maximize the efficiency of our athletic department. We are please to announce that our long time assistant coach, Kris Frady, will lead Warrior Nation through the 2018 season. Kris is no stranger to the football field as a player and a coach. He has been an active member of the coaching staff in Bledsoe County since 2008. He joined Bledsoe County High School in 2010 and has held various head coaching positions as well as assisting with the football program. He has a passion for students on and off the field and will bring this to the head coaching position. At the conclusion of the 2018 football season, a search for a new head football coach will ensue.
