I have to say Union City looks pretty stout after wk 2. I saw Riverside Thursday night and their a very good looking team also.Don't know how good Huntingdon is yet but I feel like they're on par with last years team which beat Union City by 34 points!

Be nice if you could do a 1a-2a poll and a 3a-4a poll. Could care less about 5&6a

I don't think I would rule out Huntingdon just yet!

Saw the Panthers vs Lexington game and they do have the athletes. Very quick and athletic squad. No clue if they can beat Union City but to me the Tornado's and Panthers are the top 2 in 2a.

Mustangs did a good job putting pressure on the Southside QB. Defensive backfield is playing pretty solid except for giving up a couple bombs. Can't give the Camden QB time enough to deliver the long pass!

Mustangs started a little slow against a good Hawk defense. Once we got going our offense simply wore Southside down. Thought our defense played great. Completely shut down the Hawk running game. Thought we were gonna get a shutout but gave up a couple big pass plays. Good solid win for the Mustangs.

Great looking Riverside squad. Very balanced offense w/ 2 good RB's. QB spins the ball pretty well. Panthers want to run the ball, #5 and #25 can tote the load. Defense runs well, very athletic bunch. Impressed with this Panther squad. Looking forward to yalls visit to Huntingdon.

I did, yall beat the Mustangs that season. Very good team but I still think the 2015 Nashville Christian was better.

The year Nashville Christian won the gold ball yall wouldn't have touched them. Best single a team I've ever seen.

Much to early to even think about title runs. I know Union City is better but it's hard to believe that they can go from what they were last year to being a title contender. I know the Tornado's sophomore class is talented but the Mustang's sophomores played them pretty tough in middle school. As my old coach Paul Ward used to " for every sophomore you start is lost on your record!

Riverside has its chance to prove itself in week 4 when the Panthers come to Huntingdon. If they handle the Mustangs then you can start to say they are the real deal. Beating the Mustangs is something that Riverside has always had a tough time doing.

The year and I don't remember what year it was that McKenzie had double digit personal fouls against Huntingdon in what was the most unsportsmanlike performance I've ever witnessed by a high school football team. Anyway I felt like Comer should have been fired on the spot for allowing it to happen. McKenzie can have him!

Had no speed in the backfield last year and won 9 games with as brutal schedule. Swenson ain't perfect but who you going to replace him with. I don't see any great coaches around west tennessee that I would rather have than Swenson. It ain't like you got a John Tucker or a Paul Ward around these parts. Better be careful what you wish for.

I have no problems playing privates as long as we don't compete for championships. Huntingdon's experience with Nashville Christian put a bad taste in my mouth. Their was nothing fair about that. That state championship was bought!

Main question I've got about Milan at this point is can they stop the run. Peabody ran between the tackles in the 2nd half pretty effectively on the Dogs. Milan has great pursuit to the edge but are a little light in the britches up front.

Just week 1, I'm not counting out anyone. You got to get Driggers back. They going to load the box on yall till you do. Lots of teams around with near equal talent. It remains to be seen who is gonna step up and be a great team

Talking about a schedule to prepare you. Huntingdon already played McKenzie, got Riverside, Milan, Peabody and Westview before we finish off with the Tornado's. Pray for us.

After seeing Milan, Peabody. Huntingdon,McKenzie, Westview and Dresden play the last 3 days I'll have to say Mckenzie is the best of the bunch in my opinion. # 2 Dresden!
