Any word on the young man from McKenzie that was injured last night. Didn't look good. Heard he had to be airlifted. Prayers for this fine young man for a complete recovery.

I expect a tough hardnosed game. Mustangs backs are exceptional. #9 Ensley is as good as any player that has ever worn the blue and gold and that's saying a lot. He just refuses to lose. #13 Lawton is also a big time running back. He's a threat to take it to the house any time he touches it. Patient, smart running back. Yall gonna have fish for us Friday night. Huntingdon fans are Friday night fish eaters.

McKenzie had an outstanding middle school squad last year. Wonder that super fast running back, I think #2 is contributing this season.

Peabody is a top notch 2a team. Baugis is very athletic and smart, great leader. Play calling was superb. They really sucked Milans defense up on that first TD. Great crowd shame it wasn't a better game. Great venue at Trenton. I dont understand why you built your home stands facing the sun though. As for Milan they played like they just got out of bed. Defense passes the looks test. They look athletic and fast. They ain't hit nobody yet. And the offense or should I say what offense was predictable. Tide defense just completely shut them down.

Huntingdon can throw the ball if they have to but your going to have to make them. Ensley has a big arm with touch. A short play action passing game would work for the Stangs but we're going to throw it deep 75% of the time. Also yall got Jackson Northside bad under rated.

Heck my hair was already gray in 1979. If I'm correct Huntingdon and Lake Co have played 5 times and I've seen all of them. First game was the Milan JC bowl the 1965 season. Game opened with back to back kick-off returns for touchdowns. Lake Co brought the opening kickoff back then Tim Priest returned the favor. Exciting game.

Mustangs gave Alcoa all they wanted in the 2004 championship game. Great game. Alcoa along with Nashville Christian are probably the two most talented teams the Mustangs have ever played.

Lake Co is # 1 in the state in talking. I've learned the hard way what that will get you. For a team that's only beat Huntingdon 1 time by 1 point in its history yall sure are confident.

The answer to that question is Cornersville. Only team that's beat the the Mustangs the last 2 years. They take hitting to a whole new level.

You think the Milan/ Peabody rivalry is bigger than the Huntingdon/ Milan rivalry. Huntingdon/ Milan to me is the top rivalry in west tennessee!

Mustangs dismantled McNairy Central 21-7 tonight. I feel much better about this team after their performance tonight. Offense was crisp, scoring every possession. Defense gave up yardage thru the air, shut down their running game. Mustangs ready to get this season started.

You left out Waverly. The Tigers along with Milan, Camden & McKenzie is one of the toughest non-region 1a schedules if not the toughest schedule in the state. We always play an exciting schedule!

Finished 3rd in the 100 meters in state small school track meet. Great looking athlete at around 6' 3" 200 lbs. Light needs to come on!

Only reason Lake Co has made the semi's is they didn't have to play Cornersville in the quarters. At least yall are playing a big boy schedule this season. Schedule the last few years has been weak. Our hype is the same as y'alls, cant beat Cornersville.

Offensively the Mustang 1's have scored 2 TDS in 2 scrimmages. Not your typical Swenson offfense. Are teams figuring us out? Our offensive line is big and experienced and should be good. What's the problem? I think the QB should be under center. I hate the single wing. No deception, defenses can put their ears back and come after you.

Grandson is a 4th grader and one of the youngest kids in his class. Some of his classmates were held back strictly for athletics and some are almost 2 years older than he is. It's not fair and should be stopped. I know some kids should be held back for maturity reasons but not for sports.
