  1. 299 teams? There are 291 public schools playing.
  2. It would be better competition in season and post season for them.
  3. I hate that. I'm not very familiar with Cherokee I just looked through numbers and saw they were definitely in 4a. They probably would be more competitive in 4a but they will probably be put on the region with Greeneville and Betsy
  4. Cherokee will be a 4a school unless they choose to play up in 5a.
  5. I was talking about the guy EHST was responding too. I was telling EHST that that guy was trolling
  6. Pretty sure this guy is trolling. He has oak ridge going 4a with over 1500 kids. Along with a lot of discrepancies
  7. Loudon might be either largest 3a or smallest 4a
  8. He won't be back till after the season. I don't know anybody else that is out.
  9. You only have to play your region games. TSSAA allows a maximum of 10 regular season games but you don't have to play 10.
  10. AC beat Carter rushing 3 to 4 DL and dropping 7 to 8 for coverage. They can't run the ball at all.
  11. I honestly don't know if AC and Seymour have ever played. I know what AC looks like what does Seymour look like? What are their strengths, weaknesses, and key players?
  12. Greeneville should beat South Doyle. However, unlike the previous years it's not like round 1 is show up and win. South Doyle has some athletes and size and they have a good coaching staff. But I still take Greeville by 3 scores.
  13. The Norris QB definitely seems to be something special. He can run besides throwing. Excited to see what he does at AC.
  14. They practiced Sunday. As far as not practicing on their off week, I know at least for the past 5 years they've either had the whole week off or they've came back on the thursday or friday.
  15. Scott High is sporadic in their talent. Every 6 to 8 years they get a group of athletes and make a run for a 5-5 season. But yes talent that should be going to the county schools ends up at Oneida. Not to mention there is Winfield Elementary which is on the border with Kentucky and Burchfield Middle School which is 2 miles from Oneida High School. It makes a lot more sense for those students on that end of the county to go to Oneida High School. People from Winfield have to travel through Oneida to get to Scott High.
  16. AC takes care of Gibbs they should beat Scott High no problem. That puts them undefeated in the region. They have one more non-region game against Bearden.
  17. AC wins this game. I don't want to play the compare scores game but Carter beat Gibbs.
  18. And it looks like the freshman is decent enough on the throw to make teams respect it.
  19. I noticed that when AC came out in the 2nd half of Betsy they ran Wildcat and while not the traditional single wing set they basically loaded everybody inside and ran the ball. Im wondering if they are going to do the same and then create a passing game off of that.
  20. Knox Carter travels to AC for Thursday Night Rivalry. Knox Carter currently have only played one region game and beat Gibbs. AC has played and won two region games against Fulton and South Doyle. A win by carter puts them in the hunt for #1 in the region. A win by AC ensures they remain in the driving seat for #1 in the region. Carter is coming off a loss to Karns AC is coming off a loss to Betsy. ACs starting QB Martinez is out for the season as stated by 5 Star Preps article. What are our predictions?
  21. AC did have to change their logo. They've got a new long horn now even saw the Trade Mark sign on it.
  22. If WB keeps the Clinton QB in check, then they win. If they don't get pressure on him, or let him run loose then they lose the game.
  23. DB didn't look like a bad football team just looked inexperienced.
  24. AC dominated the scrimmage. DB had a few plays here or there. They did a 10 play drive then Down and Distance after your 10 plays was the way the scrimmage was set up.
