Huntingdon’s dbs are gonna have to stay with y’all’s receivers even after they think they have run out of range cause that qb can throw it a mile. We can’t let him stand in the pocket and deliver. Also our lbs are going to have to keep contain on the backside of the play when running because Stanfield has a great cutting ability and that looks like when he is at his most dangerous cutting back and finding his own hole. Waverly’s dline is huge and the lbers pursue really well. The game could be closer than many think, but if I can see that then the coaches and players see it and won’t take y’all lightly. You had Loretta beat imo if Offensive coach hadn’t tried to get too cute at the end.

Fast on offense and fundamentally sound on defense. Loretto is the most dangerous team offensively. Tidwell and those receivers are bad men. Brown QB from MP is most dangerous player in R5 followed by Stanfield from Waverly. Waverly Qb has a missile launcher. All 4 playoff teams from R5 look solid. 7 of the 8 playoff teams in R5 and R6 run the same type of spread offense with Huntingdon being the outlier. I believe the regions split 1st rd games 2-2 with home teams winning.

Region 5 looks solid to me. From what I’ve seen, I think Lewis County is the best team from that region. Milan is athletic enough to get the win but Lewis County looks to be the more physical team. At home I will have to go with the panthers in this one.

This should be a great game. Athletically I will give the edge to Milan, but fundamentally I like Parsons at home. 28-20 Panthers.

What I said was we played soft and we certainly played dumb in that game. We also coached dumb. The kids and coaches have certainly put that behind them and continued to improve. I learned a lesson with my comments and that is don’t post immediately after a game when still angry. Maybe you should try some CBD’s to relax a little?

Agree! That 4th and 1 play call that Riversides QB overthrew was a back breaker for them. I would have taken my chances with my 230 pound back or ran the qb keeper again.

I would say there is a decent chance of playing them both again in the playoffs.

Your entitled to your opinion, but we kept Parsons offense off the field with that play calling.

Huntingdon has an opportunity to knock off the number one ranked team in 2A two weeks in a row. As far as Milan being ranked ahead of Huntingdon, that lacks integrity to put it mildly.
