  1. Thanks for the scores. Great news for Sequatchie.
  2. Congrats to the Braves and good luck to the Indians. Hopefully the Indians and Jackets stay healthy tonight. I would be lying if I said I wasn’t keeping a close eye on the Bledsoe / Marion game. Pulling for the Blue obviously.
  3. Wow! Sounds like the SCMS braves are playing excellent football. I hope the Indians can continue to improve on the defense side of the ball. I hear they had a better second half against Marion. I would like to see the Seq/Can game go injury free for both teams.
  4. Thank you. The coach will probably be working on that next week I’d imagine. Can you post a schedule for 2022 please?
  5. Sequatchie can play with almost any 3A school when they are in gear. The last few weeks have been rocky but they never give up. Statistics say RB should win the game with quite the favor. If the Seq boys show up and play the way they are capable of playing then RB will have to fight for everything they get.
  6. He will be missed Friday night that's for sure, on both sides of the ball. I don't see us meeting this year unless the stars line up perfectly. I really wish they would but it doesn't seem likely.
  7. Hicks got hurt late in the 4th quarter and I'm not sure if it's broken or not. I'm pretty sure when someone asks the reason you've lost several games they're wondering if you have multiple key players out with injuries. At the beggining of the year we had multiple key players out for the first 2-5 games with injuries. But to answer your question, no, injuries were not a factor.
  8. Pulling for York in this one. York 28 Signal hopefully 0 but probably 14
  9. No injuries. Sequatchie has played well and you can point some fingers at some different things but the truth is this. The coach is getting the most he can out of the players he has. Our recievers can catch and the linemen can block. If you measure the hight and weight of our starting 11 on O and D we will be shorter and lighter than most every single opponent we have faced. I think 6 seniors is all we will be losing. They are all great players and contribute greatly but next year should be a great year for the Indians. After all, everyone told them they wouldnt be any good this year because they werent last years team. Them boys are getting some experience and depending on how we enter the season next year, could easily be looking at another 10 straight wins. I aint giving up and neither are they.
  10. I'm not going to throw out a kids name but #1 comes from a highly athletic family. He's naturally good at anything he does, not taking away from the coaching because he has had some great one through the years. I think you're being played. It was a clean game. Seq made their own mistakes and know they had their chance to win. Hopefully they meet again and Seq has a chance to redeem themselves at York this playoff season. Good luck.
  11. Ben Herron. I think he's been there a few years. They play good football.
  12. Sequatchie will have to come out strong and maintain that pace because Upperman wont go down without a fight. I expect an exciting ballgame from both teams. Hopefully the Indians win this one with a strong statement to help propell them into the playoffs with confidence. Seq 28 Upperman 14
  13. Look at it this way. According to the majority of the posts on coachT it would be safe to asume that the Yellowjacket fans were not happy with their coach. Now you will be able to finish out the season and focus on getting one that will rebuild the program and bring back a very competitive atmosphere to the county. I'm sorry you guys are going through what you're experiencing because I know many people in the county and a few people do not represent all of the county as a whole. Looking forward to Friday night!
  14. Definitely a winnable game for Sequatchie but,,,,, they didn't. I thought it was pretty clean on both sides for the most part. Sequatchies downfall was themselves by several errors not York. It's not anything they can't fix and improve on. York had some great linemen and line backers, lots of size and speed. Already looking forward to next years matchup or possibly, later this year?
  15. I hear the Tigers have their T-Shirts printed up already. I want an XL while they're still available. Whitwell by 14.
  16. This will be a tough game for Sequatchie. Indians have to bring their A game and focus on winning. It'll be a tight one so I'll say Sequatchie by 7.
  17. The Indians showed determination last Friday. I think that a good game with Cumberland will continue to sharpen skills with some of the young men and they will not be taken lightly.
  18. Congrats to both teams for playing a great game that was pretty clean and full of excitement. Glad that the Indians pulled it out. The clock management during the last two minutes was oh......how should I put this,,,,,,,it stunk! By the way Smith County # 3, 6, 10, it looks better if you celebrate after you win not during the game you lost. . . . . again.
  19. I figured this game would have been closer due to the rivalry factor and Bledsoe's defense is OK. I do have a question for the Bledsoe folks. When will Bledsoe get a coach that instills discipline on the field to the point that penalties are frowned upon and will be dealt with Monday evening at practice? Bledsoe had several big plays only to be called back due to a penalty. My opinion is the athletes are there but..........
  20. Meigs played a great ballgame. The line on both sides of the ball was the key to the win for the Tigers. Experience, size and strength was obvious. The Indians know what they're doing but need a little more experience on the O and D line. Several have been there and done that but most haven't. It's coming along nicely Indian fans, the better team won though.
  21. I predicted Bledsoe to win solely on their defensive stance against Whitwell and a decent first half against Marion. I'm a statistics kind of guy too but sticking to my guns on this one. Bledsoe will win with their punter-kicker by gaining superior field position and field goals. Bledsoe 23 Grundy 14 I'd like to see Grundy pull this one out but just don't see it.
