Our defence is going to be fun to watch Friday. I personally think this is goingbto be a coaches game to match adjustment wits. As been preached since last Friday night, this really is a new season and I believe our boys are buying into it!

You are correct about the speed your guys have. I expect to see a lot of zone and zone blitzing maybe every play and a different look on defense. On offence, to help counter the speed, there will be a few wrinkles from the traditional offense we have run all year.

Studying film isn’t going to help the Greenwave this week. They will have to start making in game and halftime adjustments on offense during the game. I expect some confusion on their part. If that doesn’t work it’s definately going to be a W for the Patriots.

Lewis County should be higher. Their body of work over the past several decades expresses this!

Who all is signed up so far?

I used to be against the four team from every region deal. Really against the 5/6 classification thing. If 5/6 classification I say top two from each region. Rest are bowl teams. Still have two divisions as that is fair. More football teams in the state now versus 40 years ago.

Yeah, those Red Raiders are going to be better prepared for the playoffs. I give them at least a two TD favorite.

I definately agree, big ! However, I feel that Mt. Juliet comes out on top and carries the mid-state.

This is going to be a good game and a good match up. Page has a little more going for it than the Greenwave but it's going to be the third round before page gets knocked out.

Look at it this way. When the LC coach retires he'll be reviered. When he goes LC will definately go down. Having two close buddies in the T$$AA to always make sure your team is ALWAYS in the weakest conference goes a long way to helping the W/L record! Too bad they can't do any thing about the playoffs.

Nice short piece on channel 4 this evening. Said they are the first ever team to make the playoffs in their very first year. Said more than half their players don't have drivers licenses yet.

Have buddies at the T$$AA to put you in weak conferences with weak opponents and you get put out during the early rounds of the playoffs. Guy is correct about the forward pass. Had a LC parent tell me years ago the reason LC can't advance in the playoff is because they can't throw the ball. There is some truth to that. Fifty five years ago every body ran the same thing and nobody was passing. That was 55 years ago.

Both boys are done for the year. The youngest (maybe both) will be transferring during the Christmas break.

I like Lebanon in this one. I don't think they are that strong. But, it would not suprise me one bit to see Rossview slip in there and pull an upset.

I guess after the second round of the playoffs (maybe first round if normal) ya'll will be sayingbthat same ole line, "maybe next year".

Why is Lewis County not in the top 5? They have only lost one game and that was to power house Columbia Academy! I think Adamsville might be a couple spots high but other than that it looks about right.
