Tennessee high school football is about as bad as it has been in years and it shows when a one dimensional team can dominate a 6A championship game. We are about on par with Delaware or Connecticut high school football. Tennessee Vols should join the MAC.

There are about 10 CA teams would mercy rule both these teams tonight.

Let me know how many of them make a difference at the next level. It's one thing to be a recruit but look at GA, TX, FL, AL CA big school football. Their recruits are the ones shining on Saturdays.

Worst championship game in the history of high school football. Both teams are one dimensional. Whitehaven is really no dimensional. No wonder Tennessee just dont have recruiting in state if this is 6A football.

Just a shame how the game was officiated. Alcoa doesn't need help, could have been a more interesting outcome without the bad call on onside kick. I hope the TSSAA takes a look at this but we all know that is a waist of time.

The only way Upperman won't lose to Alcoa is someone does something to the Alcoa bus on the drive over. Their 4th string would win the state in 3A.

So did they measure it from where the chains were moved to during the play or did they move them back? Either way chains should never be moved during a play only after a spot of a first down.

Tennessee needs 6 man football for these schools.

Finally want to say proud of those young Redskins we had left on the field after their field general and top linemen went down at 14-14. Only gave up 17 for 2 1/2 quarters and fought hard on offense. Hanley kid pick 6 broke our back. That kid is a great player.

Jackson was close or over the century mark in yards in the 1st quarter and a half.

Also lost 2 lineman in 1st couple of series that was killing GB up front. Was told both are out for year. Still no official word on Jackson for rest of year.

Drew Jackson went down for us in 2nd quarter after another long run. Lost our chance to win after that happened. This maybe detrimental to our season for Loudon because he is our heart and soul. Great kid and I hate it for him. We will know the extent of the injury next week. He probably had 100 yds in 1st half alone. Kids still fought hard but GB was too good for our team we had left.

Maryville did get a favorable call when Hopkins wasn't called down when he threw an incomplete pass and it would have been 3rd and 19 if he was ruled down when they were behind 14 - 7.

Memphis teams tradionally has better athletes but the coaching is always the worst. Maryville will show Cane Ridge next Friday night.

Still no clarification on this call. The refs from Johnson city are a joke!

I know the Payne dork from Signal will call me out for blaming refs but if his golden child son had kicked a 65 yd field goal to lose to Whitwell 43 - 3 but the ref called it wide left he would be on here b******* for a year! LOL
