Pretty much every year Lexington is expected to win over Riverside and that makes sense going by their numbers and talent. But this year not as much. Expect a good game, you never know in a rival game and sure the Tigers wanting a little payback from last year

Yes quite a bit. Will have a good offensive line and even better defensive line w several rollers coming in as well for breaks. Our best running back has returned from an injury that kept him sidelined all last year and we have another pretty good one behind him. Qb knows the system and throwing a good ball to several receivers that are very athletic. Lot of experience on the defensive side and that’s w one senior starting. Looking for a very competitive season

Riverside played one of the best jamboree games I have ever seen. Won 24-21 against a very improved Chester county team. May be the best thing to happen for Riverside before the season starts

I’m telling ya don’t sleep on Chester county. Very impressive showing tonight. I got nothing in this race just saying they will b in the mix for the region title. Offense on point, very fluid. Coach Johnson has created a different mindset there already on the Eve of his first year. Watch out. U heard it here first

Hardin co. Came to Riverside couple weeks ago in scrimmage and HC quarterback looked very good. Was getting pressured whole game out threw some very accurate timing routes along w some touch passes as well. Chester co. will b much improved

Yeah expecting Riverside to lead the pack. They return a very good defensive line and o line pretty strong too. Lot of experience coming back including the skill guys. D daddy is right about Lewis county they have bought in and expect a whole different offense. Coach Rang gets all out of his qbs and McDonald should do well. Barnes is the real deal at receiver but they will have to find a couple of more when teams start doubling on him. Adamsville returns a lot of players and I expect Gray to have them ready. Rest of the region will b fighting for that fourth spot.

Spot on General. Different scenarios were present in all the games leading up to the one that mattered. A call or turnover here and there can change the outcome of a game. Just going on my take of this game based on the Riverside game is that of course westview offense is the real deal. Was going to have to score w them every possession it seemed. But not impressed with their defense. Maybe it was bc our qb opened up the running game w the pass but we had several good runs. Not like we ran rough shod over them but had our moments. Key penalties just stalled out the drives at the end. Ik this is part of the game, not trying to make excuses westview was the better team at the beginning and the end but threw for around 200 and over hundred on the ground. Could b different if they stack the box , seems Hampton is going to run whole game. If they had any passing game could b different. I’m rambling I’m sorry lol

Goldsmith you can definitely say difference maker w that offense. But yes Jacob Tucker best high school qb I have ever seen. His pocket presence was so crazy, could do it all. Besides being one of the top passers in the he also led the state in tackles from his inside linebacker position lol

Congratulations to Westview definitely earned the win. Simpson a big difference maker. Riverside no reason to hang your heads. Gave them all they wanted in the first half and if not for those penalties stalling that first series in the third could have been different. But that’s part of the game. Good luck to ya next week
