I know the Summit brothers. I coached their older brother. Special family. Older brother went to Navy. I was always told the younger twins were better athletes. No guess on score as I don't follow high school football near as close now that I'm out of coaching, but pulling for those twins.
The TSSAA website says Trousdale is up 17-6, and the live stats link says Peabody is up 17-6. I am at work and can not listen or watch the game, which site is screwed up?
Is Indy over Brentwood an upset? I think the weather and damp field will play in Brentwood's favor, but Indy was good enough to beat them earlier this year, and now has one of Brentwood's best players.
I don't know that Brentwood gets by Indy. Since that Cash kid came in, Indy has looked much closer to that 2015 team than any other time since. Not saying Indy is going to win the title this year. If, and that is a big if, they get to the Ravens, they will get beat. But Indy might just get to that point.
To bring this back to the original topic, I think this is a must win game for Stewie, not like Martin's job is on the line or anything, but just looking a their schedule, if they want in the playoffs, they can't lose this one. Stewie by 21.
I can tell you Franklin is missing a good bit of talent they used to have. I don't think Independence is near as good as they have been in the last few years, but Indy still beat the Rebels up pretty good. I always find myself pulling for Franklin, mostly because I know Donnie is a good guy and I can't help but pull for him. I just don't think his team has the talent, and that's why H'ville wins by 14-21, but I won't be mad if the Rebels prove me wrong.
Is there a reason this young man isn't getting the national recognition his talent seems to demand? I thought maybe he was small, but the kid is north of 200lbs, can run around and through you. I haven't seen enough film on him to know if he can block, but RB blocking is all want-to, so that can be taught/forced. I just don't understand what college coaches look for sometimes.
It would surprise those at the school. The thought around the school is that he would stay until his youngest graduates. She's either a sophomore or junior this year.
