  1. Dems have tried to remove Trump for years with one false accusation after another.
  2. Taking top seeds... I kind of like it as well and for the most part it would not have mattered in 2A this past year had it been done that way here's how it fell with 5 playoffs games for the quarter finals. Region 2_#2. Vs. Region 2_#1 Oneida Vs. Meigs Co. __________________________________ Region 4_#2. Vs. Region 4_#1 Trousdale. Vs. Watertown __________________________________ Region 6_#3. Vs. Region 5_#1 Riverside. Vs. Forrest __________________________________ Region 8 _#1. Vs. Region 7_#1 Fairley. Vs. Peabody __________________________________ *** If we took top seeds*** Region 1_#1. Vs. Region 2_#1 Hampton Vs. Meigs Co.__________________________________Region 5_#1. Vs. Region 4_#1Tyner. Vs. Watertown__________________________________Region 6_#1. Vs. Region 5_#1Waverly . Vs. Forrest__________________________________Region 8 _#1. Vs. Region 7_#1Fairley. Vs. Peabody Playoffs would have looked much different. As Trousdale would not have made qtrs and neither would Riverside, and Oneida. Point being those region games if only one team goes means everything. Even if it was first and second seeded teams Riverside would not have made qtrs considering they were 3rd seed. Just a glance at how it would have looked if only #1 seeds went.
  3. because it is here to stay. That statement there is the key to advancement going forward in any situation we will have. Because until that is recognized as truth there will be precautions, closings, and just plain ol worries on all fronts until that is a nationwide understood truth. This is just my opinion but it's how I see it.
  4. Something like what your asking would take a United front and someone to head the charge. Its doable but convincing the governor would be hard. Letting him know the blame if worst case scenario happens would fall elsewhere would be the only way he would loosen the reigns.
  5. Contact realistically in about all sports. Soccer, trying to take a dribbling defenders ball from them, Baseball trying to tag someone out, Basketball is about as hands on as Football with all the guarding and plays setup you will brush someone nearly every 3 seconds. With their current setup not one sport realistically can be played if they go what rules they implemented. Maybe golf...
  6. Problem is that the school and TSSAA doesnt have a hand in that. In other words... it's why its allowed to happen.
  7. I wonder about that, not saying you are right or wrong but reading alot I have found alot of the spikes in cases are due to people being checked in a whole. Example if you tested 30 people ona Friday and 3 people had it then you have a 10 % infection rate. If you check 5000 Saturday and you come up with 500 it's still 10% however you can say there was a spike in cases of 497 people between Friday and Saturday. Just food for thought. I believe some of the spikes in cases are due to more being tested. What I used was just a model.
  8. I agree with you, problem is everyone is accountable when it comes to finalizing statistics. I mean it's great and all for the ones attending the games without worries. However if you catch it or it spreads because of a lapse of basic precaution, stuff like that is what causes higher restrictions etc. I mean honestly if one kid gets it on the team how do you deal with that. Do you keep every kid at home away from school, practice, games until everyone has a negative test back? Or do you not worry about it go ahead and play and take that chance? ( there is a correct answer ) My point is if I was a player or parent I'd not put myself in that situation unless I could help it. Let's face it it wouldnt take much to derail this school year much less sports. And trust me I really want to see some football be played on Fridays.
  9. Long story short once they allow groups of 22 to be able to gather, football will be played. Youth baseball and softball all weekend tournaments are going on all over the southeast with no problems. I've seen this going on as well, and I've noticed hardly any difference between what use to be a normal gathering of fans and a post Covid-19 gathering. Most people see it as a non issue or don't seem to be worried about it.
  10. No one knows, I'm just saying decisions aren't being made now because of the kill all virus... Now we know something about it and know what measures work. For example... all those states that have huge spikes in cases are states that people act like the virus has went away and are dwelling in old places with old habits and acting like the old normalcy is ok. Now we know that masks (supposedly) help, keeping distance is a good way to prevent spreading and the contraction of the virus, it dies in heat fairly easy, doesnt have a long shelf life on surfaces and imo the best part is taking temperatures at entrances as a precaution has helped alot most workplaces do it now schools are doing it before allowing kids to gather together. I'm saying in general we know more of what we are doing. Everyone just has to take it serious and take precautions and it will continue to show a regression in numbers of contractions. Just my opinion.
  11. School was stopped in general not just ceremonies. It's not like they were having school and decided not to have a graduation. Alot more information about the virus is available now including countermeasures in how to prevent not only contraction of the virus, but how to not spread the virus in the first place. That said alot of the other states when restrictions were eased went back to their old habits and went on as if the virus had went away. In order to keep restrictions eased we have to keep measures for safety against it going. Our country cant survive another shutdown like we had most likely.

  13. I'm with you, I'd gladly go back to the usual seating standard even if masks or temperature was required of me to enter the seating area. I'd absolutely hate to miss a football season as a fan. And I'd hope I would get the option to decide for myself if I wanted to take that chance or not. That's just me though.
  14. Worst case scenario we have no High School Football season. Best case we have a season all can attend and everyone probably required to wear masks? From what I'm hearing though and it's just speculation, but seating will be limited and parents of the players will surely get a seat and everyone else would be a question mark at this point... what's everyone else hearing? Or any speculation.
  15. If Trump had made this payment... Deflection is a pretty good way to try and divert guilt. Trump did not send money to Iran. Obama, his administration and his party DID in fact do the ugly deed. Saying what Trump might have done is an assumption. Also Trump has shown he will not let Iran have their way. The U.S. and Iran nearly entered into an open conflict on 8 January 2020 when the IRGC launched missile attacks against two Iraqi military bases housing U.S. soldiers in retaliation for the killing of Soleimani, a rare direct Iran–U.S. confrontation and the closest to the brink of war between the two nations in decades ... Now that's reopened it would seem one president funded a country for open ended terrorism ( who knows these missiles could have been paid for with Obama's terror payment.) On the other hand Trump reacted to an attack on or in the vicinity of American troops. Not to mention killing Soleimani. The truth is there folks and it's easy to see which is the lesser of two evils so to speak. At least regarding actions on Iran. There are always two sides to a discussion depending on how one likes to see it. However I believe this summarizes Trumps views on Iran and terrorism. Trump also attacked a Syrian base and what not for terrorist acts. What did Obama do? He funds states that carry out acts of terrorism. Please try and refute any of this as the truth is there for all to see.
  16. Yeah, their qb is a big threat though. Hes good.
  17. I'm sure it's nice as well. While we were off for covid shutdown my immediate family went on many nature excursions and to Bald River Falls a few times during the shutdowns. Had some good times. Water was fridgid still though. If ya never seen Bald River Falls it's a nice day trip. It's more near where I grew up. Maybe someday I can make my way up that way. Also not to far away even is The Lost Sea. Also a good place to visit if you have never been.
  18. Who knows at this point I've seen some summer workouts of the kids and we should have a pretty good roster. I'll be able to tell a ton after we get a scrimmage out of the way. I've never been to your area I believe. If I do, I hope it won't be for football.
  19. Yeah I think it is, that's why I posted that. We would have come to you last year had you beaten Oneida. We are a good 45 minutes above Chattanooga at least.
  20. Maybe we will both get lucky and you can come see us this year.
