100% some people get a little uptight! I’m with Brian…..Springfield is the under dog playing in Paris and not playing that tough of a schedule this far. Just hoping for an injury free hard fought game from both sides.

Hardin county has to many weapons. Lexington can’t put a hat on a hat to cover them. Hardin county by 3 TD’s is how I see this one

From what I’ve heard about Cheatham county Director and school board, they’re not to much into football. They’re high school programs have all been on the decline due to lack of support form the board and super…..so my point is they probably won’t care about a middle school game even though this situation should be addressed.

I’ll take the win. Defense played great again with just a few, uncharacteristic, missed tackles that turned into some nice gains for Rossview. They came up with some big plays on key 4th downs, so kiddos to them. The offense…..still trying to figure them out. Look great one week and the next it’s like they’re off a tick or two. Good enough to win tonight but not good enough for next week….

I agree with you. I’m guessing it’s due to the new Offense coordinator. It’s like all they are looking for is the home run ball. They’ve got to pick up a few yards and move the chains, the defense is playing way to good to keep putting them in a bad spot. Only so many times you can do that….

The true measure of a man isn’t in terms of monetary means or worldly processions, but rather the impression he leaves on others. Like many of you on here, I didn’t know Mike personally, but watched his shows and met him at a ball game once and had a great conversation. He and Lee have done as much, if not more, than anyone to promote high school football across our great state in the past few years. The impression he left on so many of us speaks volumes for the man that Mike was. Thank you for all you’ve done Mike and rest easy brother.

One of the best atmosphere high school football games I’ve ever been too was at LCHS in 03 or 04 I can’t remember. It was a quarter final game between them and Riverdale. I’m a fan of neither team, I was on a hunting trip down there that weekend and decided to catch a ball game. I had to park at the Walmart across the street and the stadium was packed standing room only 3-4 rows deep around the fence. heckuva ball game and atmosphere. I believe Riverdale won something like 12-7, can’t remember exactly just know it was close. It’s a shame the program is where it’s at today.

I agree, I wouldn’t write R5 at all. Yes, they have great athletes. How do you combat that, coaching. I know outside of East Nashville R6 has the better coaching, and to me in the playoffs is where the cream rises to the top on the coaching side.

Barring we continue to have most everyone back this week, I see springfield a 2-3 score favorite. I’ve been most impressed with the defense this year playing lights out no matter how many players are missing. Hope this streak continues on in this game.

I see this region going 3-1 in the first round of playoffs. Teams 1-3 will advance, I don’t think the 4 seed, no matter who it is, can get by East Nashville in round 1. I do think you will see a region 6 vs region 6 quarter final.

I’m very interested in seeing what’s going to happen with the Springfield kids. I don’t see any way around building another middle school for Springfield with all the growth going on all over the county
