  1. Lead, y’all get the discipline problems fixed this past week? I really believe the rematch will be a lot closer than most people expect. If the tigers play with the same intensity they did against Springfield, they’ll be hard to beat.
  2. I think it’ll be a close hard fought game. CW’s qb is really good on both sides of the ball. Great dual-threat field general on offense and always around the ball on D. I still think Lexington gets it done by 7.....
  3. Wow! I was being generous with the 75, it was just a conservative guess, I knew it wasn’t much at all.
  4. Another stellar defensive performance from the Jackets tonight. I think SS had 3 1st downs and maybe 75 yards total offense all game. Offense needs to pick it up next week tho.
  5. Springfield by 21, I think SS’s D will hold for a little bit, but the jackets will be too much in the end. Go Jackets
  6. About the only one that “remotely” makes since is putting Lawrence county in region 6. It still leaves 8 in that region and makes for a long road trips for LC when you play the Jackson teams.
  7. Exactly....not to mention travel for region games. Montgomery Central and Creek Wood is a long way from Marshall county and Tullahoma.
  8. If I was Creek Wood and Central, I’d ask for some sort of wavier and try and move up to 5A and be in the Clarksville region. Less travel and better gates.
  9. If Region 5-4A stands as is, it’s going to be one of the toughest regions in the state. IMHO it does need to loose at least one team probably two.
  10. The local station use to do that here years ago, I believe that met and did there broadcast from the local McDonald’s and tried to have a lot of the local county coaches on. It’s just different attitudes toward that kind of thing in our area any more, a lot different than in west Tennessee has a whole.
  11. I’ve only watched them play against Haywood and they looked decent for about a quarter and half. Now granted Haywood gifted them 2 turnovers that allowed for 2 easy scores, and shot themselves in the foot multiple times with different things. Yet they still won convincingly. To me they don’t look very disciplined when they face adversity on either side of the ball.
  12. I honestly didn’t even know we still had one. What station is it?
  13. There are teams that are happy to just make the playoffs, and that’s okay lots of teams would love to still be playing, and then there are teams that are hungry for a deep run. I like Heritage because of them being local, but I know the facts of the matter. Hardin county is hungry and it’s time to eat.
  14. Yes there is that big of a gap between our 1&2, and 3&4. Region 6 has a gap between there top 2 and bottom 2, but not as big as ours. I don’t think CW will get upset by JNS, but I do think it will be a close game.
  15. They aren’t denying media coverage, just wanting to “tax” the h311 out of you. I get it if it’s a big time tv or radio station that’s making good money off of the advertisement. This is different, @ilovethegame is just trying to provide the community a service for the ones who can’t come to the game. Come on TSSAA you got to be better than that.....
  16. Hoping for a great week of practice from the Jackets this week. Gotta keep working on the snap issues. Can’t give them a short field they’ll take advantage of it, see Haywood game 1st half. Can’t sleep on anyone here on out.
  17. ^that pretty well decides it then.....probably be the first of a few of these in the playoffs. Hate to see it
  18. Does anyone know how they’re going to sale playoff tickets? Online or at the gate?
  19. Just being honest, it’s November football season. Time to put your big boy pants on and play big boy ball. No reason to sugar coat it. I’ve seen both play, Hardin county is by far the superior team.
  20. I hate that for him. You never want to see anything bad happen especially his senior year and him being a good 3 sport athlete. I respect CW more than anyone else in our region, like you said earlier, always play hard and very well coached.
  21. Mainly run heavy shot-gun offense, they’re not very good in the passing game. They are a neighboring county team to Springfield, but I’ll be blunt. Hardin county will win big. Heritage doesn’t have the secondary to stop Pope and company. Even if they put the safety over top and double cover him, which they’ll have too, they don’t have the personal to match the other receivers. Rivers Hunt will pick them apart. Even if they did stop the passing game, they won’t be able to stuff the running attack of Hardin county. I’m a realist.....Hardin county 42 Heritage14 at best.
