  1. Why don't you throw out some names so we can get to the bottom of this. I'd like more than this "anonymous" person. In fact, just send me an email if you want to so we can preserve this "anonymous" person's identity. Prosushi@gmail.com And even if our admins told the refs what to call, if the refs listened, then that's their fault. But it's not any different from a fan yelling at the ref telling him to make a call. Finally, from the way you have presented yourself on the boards, I'd say that you should be in church.
  2. I can't say as I haven't seen the Harpeth kid play. But because I am a fan, I'll say Reaves
  3. Maybe I've missed something but I don't see her lacking sportsmanship. As for her scoring all their points, she can put up big numbers but Brooke Crisp can drain a ton of 3's. It is not about just shutting down Kendra
  4. Our starters looked fine, so I don't know what you mean by "aren't any better" It was only when we put in our third string that the lead was cut down, and that took a few minutes for Waverly to adjust to that
  5. excellent, he'll be a nice addition to the team next season
  6. Tell me about Miller. I know Rivals has him at #13 for PGs
  7. Investing a few thousand dollars really won't do a whole lot towards college. Especially if the prospective student is interested in an education, the scholarship can let them go out of state, which is ridiculously expensive. If a few thousand dollars can earn a scholarship and prevent someone from taking out loans, it is well worth it
  8. Yes, Thad is going to see plenty of playing time. Hewitt likes to use his depth to run n gun and outpace the other teams The reason GT was so bad last year is that they couldn't close a game. Look for Thad to rotate with Jeremis Smith and get a lot of PT. Also, Nov. 21st has the potential GT vs Memphis matchup in the Maui Invitational. Memphis must beat Oklahoma, GT must beat Purdue
  9. congrats to Willie. Hard work meets talent and he's one great player. none of the other players have anything to be ashamed of. Like FF said, Wayne can go to UT and have an immediate impact. Thad, you hit a lot of free throws against bolivar, and Georgia Tech needs some free throw shooting from a big man other than Dickey, so we'll be glad to have you down there.
  10. It was a sloppy game. I don't know what Bolivar was thinking, but no one wanted to take a shot at some points. Either way, congrats to Mitchell and Thaddeus Young, I can't wait to see him playing for GT next year.
  11. It does my heart good to know that the team is working hard like you said. If you want to loot and pillage Bolivar, go there Wednesday
  12. I am saying we can win without one or the other, without both, it would be very difficult. And i like your sig there Prep
  13. People make Bolivar out to be more than what they really are? Are you serious? Yeah, those 2 State Championships are really just flukes. These great seasons we've been having? We just got lucky I guess. Bolivar can win without Willie. Bolivar can win without Wayne. Liberty can win without Brandon Evans. Liberty can win without the Long twins. It's just not as easy as with a full bench. And so what if Bolivar isn't as athletic as Liberty? Athleticism doesn't do it all for you. Bolivar's record vs Liberty this season shows that. That being said, Liberty is a great team, no one doubts that. But if you are just going to write off Bolivar like you did, you might need to adjust your ability to make sound judgments about basketball.
  14. I've seen carrying called 3 times in 4 years of watching ball
  15. this is fast degenerating into the classic "You didn't win, we beat ourselves" or "You didn't win, you just scored more points, we outplayed you" type deal. Like Firefulmer said, it's history.
  16. They press press press. Bolivar has been about the only team that could beat it. As for their players, the Long brothers and Brandon Evans are the guys to watch out for, but don't count out the rest of the team. Sorry for being short, i'm in class right now.
  17. It's on HWY 64 out of Memphis, or 18 out of Jackson, not exactly off of 40.
  18. Bolivar is situated between memphis and jackson
  19. they would have after a win next week, but i think due to his legal troubles, he isn't coming back at all
  20. that's what i thought, but i wanted to make sure
  21. Why shouldn't they have? It was a substate game, DL is a good team, who beat MLK, who has played Bolivar close in the state tourney the past 2 years.
  22. While i am sure many will disagree, i see this game as Bolivar being the underdog. A lot of talent on the court, i'm excited
  23. Hmm, great record. However, it should be interesting. 3 sophs in a pressure game vs a team that has never been to state.
