Keyshon Gross from LC more deserving. Also Colby mason, Abbott, or sheirs from LC are probably better than any defensive lineman they picked for that all state team. They should be there. How does the championship team that beat up every other team have less than greenback and south Pittsburg? How does that make sense?

I could name 4 kids on LC defensive that were snubbed. But congrats to the 4 on LC that did make it

Everytime someone says NCS was the best ever i always says 2014 UC was better. The year before that 2015 NCS team got beat 35-0 by UC. Your'e telling me one year made them 5 TD's better? i think not.

I saw the 2012 huntington up close trust me. I was at that round one game where yall throttled LC 50-15. That offense is impossible to start when you have a good line, which in 2012 yall did. Part of me wishes back in 2017 we had some classic I-formations to run with Johnson in the backfield. But the spread has been great for us. It's nice to see the best teams in the state not running the wing-t, I feel like after union city's success they got every middle school and most high schools in the state running that offense

Hope this 8th grade class you guys having coming up brings you back to the promiseland. 1A is so much better/fun to watch when you have small schools like cornersville shaking it up and beating the big dogs like huntington. Wish yall could've got gold last year, you deserved it

Would you believe me if I told you arguably our best lineman was watching from the stands? Frankie Mays hes lik 6'2 320 pound monster. Played Guard/D Tackle last year and I believe he was all state. He was tremendously talented, just had far too many problems off the field. It was for the best that he be removed from the team, we obviously didn't hurt without him, but he would have been a force on both sides of the ball. Shoulda, woulda, coulda. He wasn't on the team so i'll shut up about him.

He was not out of bounds. It was a fumble i'll admit that, but there were far too many uncalled penalties on GB. LC deserved a break somewhere. I'll stop with the crap if you guys just admit LC was better and stop with the excuses

That team was definitely good but I don't see them stopping LC offensive attack. And if LC could stop the greenback air raid I don't see why we couldn't slow down the Dresden pass attack

The ONLY thing keeping this game close was penalties. Lets not ignore the uncalled facemask on Greenback, there were several. Someone actually posted pictures of them on facebook. If tubbs doesn't get hurt it would've been even worse. Also Colby Mason played hurt the entire game, he's our best linemen behind puckett and probably our best defensive linemen. Having him 100% would've made it worse too. Using 23 and 15 as an excuse for getting manhandled is a horrible excuse. Didn't nobody on Greenback want to tackle Snyder in the 4th quarter. Outgained GB 500-200 just thank the Lord the loss was only by 2 TD's.

*Correction LC was the better team period. They had the best player on the field (Snyder easily), the best line, and ran and passed all over the GB defense without their starting rb (who will likely get the nod at all state) The only reason this game was remotely close is the penalties. If it wasn't for that this game could've easily been like the beatdown Dresden gave yall, probably worse. Only reason I make this comment is because saying LC is the better prepared team hints that you think GB is better just wasn't prepared, which is not at all the truth.

Brining this list back. I believe the end of year list will be very different

If they don’t get better coaching they will continue to get beat by LC. They probably have the most athletic team in 1A but absolutely no discipline and horrible fundamentals. The well coached teams like Huntington/LC would run it up on them. Imo it’s LC and Huntington again, unless Fayetteville/hunt land/cville can beat huntington in round 3. After seeing the performance from our sophomores/juniors in the championship game I think LC will 100% compete again

Trust me us LC fans seen it all year. We been telling y’all folks that it was highway robbery he didn’t make top 3. But he’ll tell you himself he’ll take that gold ball any day of the week over those individual awards. Now it’s time to go win the state title in the spring, you could make an argument that Snyder’s best sport is baseball. You think I’m pulling your leg but I ain’t

Shoot I think LC has 2 that can play in the SEC but don’t get the exposure to get recruited. I think after snyder and Puckett play in the east west bowl next week they pick up more offers
