Holy Smokes!!!!! The annual title of Regular Season Paper Champions may not apply this year, after all. Chapel Hill is suppose to be pretty good and Eagleville has in the past. DANG!!! If a playoff run is made this year it will be an early first round exit for sure! Can't have a fourth seeded Lewis County winning over a number one seed from just about any other district! Guess Sharp is going to have to call in his connections and get moved out of regions that enlist basketball schools!

Is this game at Westview? I hear that Simpson kid is really lighting it up this year.

They typically always are during the regular season. Not much into baseball and don't know much about Summertown or that area down there. Just remember Summertown having a fairly good girls basketball team back in the day. Maybe softball too. I just remember my wife talking about it years ago.

I just knew the Bears would have a down year this year. They had a few good years and one excellent year a couple of years ago. They will be back up.

That is exactly what I am thinking. He's had enough time to implement his system and gear the players toward it.

Ah, the good ole regular season paper champions of Lewis County. Playing another challenging contest against a basketball school who's football program is in their fifth year! Another second round exit awaits the end of the year!

Trey has some very large hands. I think that's why he has such incredible touch. The kid can already place the ball where he wants it. He may not be the fastest on the field but he can get out of trouble.

He is! And, he is receiving a lot of attention from several schools and some of these are large schools!

I wouldn't be surprised at all! Hard to believe our humble beginning a couple short decades ago. We are definitely playing big boy ball now and it looks like we are going to be playing even bigger boy football. The increase in enrollment hasn't really brought us an increase in talent on the field. Though we have gained a few basketball players over the years. Still, talent in the halls and classrooms but just not on the field!

The past two/few years have been good for us. There are just so many Williamson County schools now and most or all seem to be very good. A lot of splitting talent.

Understanding the Patriots are taking a large leap back this year. Couple of transfers in will help but the three kids leaving are going to hurt more. I'm thinking 6-4 this year with a couple of wild-card games. McCurrey will probably have Winchester rolling by the end of the year. Who knows about Summit.?.? I think we take Fairview and Giles doesn't seem to have much. Libscomb is anyone's guess as to what they have or how good they'll be. Centennial and Columbia will be hard games. Season is close!

You mean to tell me the regular season paper champions of Lewis Co are only honorable mention?? Our Patriots come in at #5 but I think thats high.

I think Page drops back this year. All of the schools in Williamson County is spreading the talent pool thin.

I’ve been impressed with their program the past few years. But, hard to be that solid continuously year in and year out.

Sounds like those boys over in Warren Co.

Even if he was paid $125 K he wouldn’t be able to win at CC!

You East Tennessee boys slow down just a bit. There are some good teams coming out of Memphis this year.

As long as it has ketsup and mustard on it a burger aint so bad every now and then.

Technically, by the stated rules, Williamson County is open. But, it is not really. Confusing I know but that is how the school boards has it. Good luck transferring to a different school without actually moving!
