Two hall of fame coaches resigned within months of his taking over. He also ran off a girls basketball coach that took them to the state tournament for the first time in 25 years. And then he goes to the state semi finals his first year at a new school. The softball field is the worst in the district other than MJCA. Might want to check out DA's field. Baseball field is nice except for the tiny dimensions. However, you have to literally climb a ladder to get into the press-box. Every other school has lights also. If you drive over to DA you will see a school that is not afraid to spend money. We will see what "moves" he is making. First choice turns them down. On to plan B.

Vanderbilt has an endowment larger than 98% of all universities worldwide. When you walk in Dudley Field or Memorial Gym do their athletic facilities show that? Having money and spending money are two different things.

During that time they also went D2. They are WAY behind the others in AA as far as facilities, coaching pay, getting assistants on campus, getting players in on financial aid etc. Look at FRA. They went all in with Geisinger and are reaping the rewards. Goodpasture needs to clean the cobwebs off their wallet and figure out the days of dominating publics are over (and never coming back). They will have to have to spend money to fix the bigger problems over there and even then it will be a process. Plus they have a new president that was the worst coach in the history of the school. He has already lost two Hall of Fame coaches in other sports in less than one year on the job. Doesn't bode well.

The scuttle is DC will be current D2AA head coach and OC will be former D2AAA Head coach.
