  1. I didn't attend the game. I was at the Clarkrange/Moore County game. UCSportsFan is that right?
  2. Wanted to say I am disappointed that the Clay County girls aren't gonna be there. One of the best teams in the state in my opinion. Class act, well coached, and have some of the best players around anywhere. Would have been great for 6A to be represented by both Clay and Clarkrange. Great season for the girls from Clay. May have came up short but says nothing of how good they are.
  3. How were they disrespectful?
  4. Clarkrange starts 3 sophomores and 2 seniors. The twins are sophomores along with Howard who plays post. Stover and Bush are both seniors. The first two off the bench are also sophomores.
  5. I have wondered why White County myself. The tournaments use to be played at Livingston. I'm not sure but i think that would be more in the middle for most all the teams. There was plenty of seating and parking. I'm not sure why the change.
  6. Hey I got a new one they can try for the very first time ever...we got beat because the other team is better than us??? If they dont like that one how about they outplayed us? Other coach had better game plan? We just didn't play well?? So many options besides we were cheated, ref knows the coach, and now we had the flu. They need to try this summer maybe in the off season to come up with some new excuses for next year. Maybe alien invasion, Coach Buck's mom was one of the refs in disguise, the Monday twins from Clarkrange are actually 25 years old, surely they can Google some new excuses before next season, cause their gonna need em.
  7. Oh no, haven't you heard...now it's that they had the flu. But thankfully it was only during the Stone and Clarkrange losses. I guess they forgot why they lost until now and suddenly remembered oh yeah it was the flu
  8. So CCHS suffered from the flu during the two losses from Stone and Clarkrange? Wow that's a new one. During the boys game with Clarkrange I had a good long conversation with Coach Miller, who I have known for about 17 years, and no mention of the flu. Only just looking over the stats and where they came up short and could improve. No excuses. I certainly hope Dishman and Wilson were not allowed to play having the flu. Not just because of safety issues for other players with it being spread, but for their health. Surely, an aunt/coach, parent, athletic director, etc would not want to risk the health of these kids by letting them play with the flu. Also, during the Stone game I believe it was said on Coach T that Dishman had 35 of the 55 points?? Got them while having the flu? Either the flu had no effect on her game or it did and that's why they lost? Which is it?
  9. So the head of officiating is from Clay County and his wife was a ref in a district tournament game that Clay played in? And this is the same game Pickett coach/some fans were ejected from?
  10. I agree. Coach Edwards is a stand up guy as well as one of the best coaches around. He has coached some great players, (Tyreke Key obviously comes to mind) and does a superb job keeping egos and attitudes under control. He don't tolerate the "show boating" and his players know this. He should be proud not only of his coaching ability, but also his attitude and the respect he has from others all over the district. He has a good bunch of boys and I'm sure they would tell you he has taught them not only about the game, but how to be respectful young man. Good luck to Clay County and Coach Edwards. IMO win or lose in the championship game, they are the best team in 6A.
  11. There are several great teams in class A from all over the state. Some that don't get talked about as much as others but are just as capable of winning. I just wanna wish everyone good luck and I hope everyone stays injury free. IMO it's anybody's gold ball to win and everybody has a chance. Clarkrange, Clay, Greenfield, Gibson, Loretto, etc can win, and all can be sitting home watching. I for one am thankful to be a class A watcher this year because we are all in for some great games to watch
  12. Clarkrange gets a win on the road at Cumberland County tonight. 64-39. Good game for the lady buffaloes
  13. Kassie done an awesome job. Its hard to stop the twins on offense when they get started and they have proven what great defensive players they are. Both work very hard and don't let size play a role in what they set out to do. Chloe Howard also done very good on Arms. Not taking anything from Clay. They are a very good team. It was Clarkrange's night and they handled everything they needed to. A 25 point win took team effort and that's what Clarkrange had last night. Everybody done their part to get the job done
  14. Clarkrange played very well. Not the best I've saw them play, but they took care of business. Bench players went in late in 4th or probably would have been a bigger win. You never know what's going to happen come tournament time, but if Clarkrange plays like they have against Stone and Clay the last two games, I'm gonna go with them.
  15. Clarkrange played awful when they played Stone earlier in the season. Tonight they were clicking on all cylinders. Also, the win is 1,200 wins for Coach Lamar Rogers. Stone is very good. Wish them the best in post season. Great coach and lots of great players
  16. I will go with Clarkrange over Pickett at Pickett. Clay over Pickett at Clay. Could go either way with Clarkrange/Clay at Clarkrange but as every knows with this district anything can happen! Some great games left to watch. Some fine young ladies on all three teams. Good luck and hope everyone stays injury free.
  17. Clarkrange didn't play well and lost to a very good Clay County team by 5 at Clay County. Clay wanted it more and was the better team that night. It wasn't a big blow out game. It was two good teams playing a game trying to get better, so I guess that's why the forums aren't over-run with posts about it. Clay lost to a very good Pickett team and Pickett lost to a very good Clarkrange team. May be a different story when these 3 teams all meet again. May not.
  18. Cookeville has a very good team. The girls play hard in every way, hustle, and are very well coached. Clarkrange did not respond well to their defense, but that's why you play good teams. Win or lose it makes you better. Congrats to Cookeville. Hope to see those girls go a long way in post season.
  19. Heard from a friend that attended the games, Clarkrange won 74 -24
  20. Any word on games today? Can't find scores anywhere
  21. Since so much "cheating" was going on, why don't you tell the foul count, (clarkrange had double the fouls Pickett had), the missed calls against Pickett for walking, (they took two or three extra steps every dribble), Clarkrange lost a starter in the first quarter due to an injury, (she was out the rest of the game), played their bench a lot in the 4th quarter?? Face it Pickett is down this year. Happens to everyone at some point. Don't get on here and make a fool out of yourself trying to say you all were cheated out of 37 points. To answer your question, yes I was at the game. Now answer mine -what is goin to be your excuse when clarkrange wins on your floor in byrdstown?
  22. What is going to be the excuse when clarkrange wins at byrdstown??? Quit while you're ahead, before you get laughed off the forum. 37 points....really?? Cheated lol lol lol
  23. Clarkrange had 3 starters out Friday night. It will be hard to tell how they are going to be until all 3 are back on the floor
