  1. CMS has been losing kids to LFMS too. CMS does not have the athletes it used to have. That could change of course.
  2. Seeing all this revenge talk from Powell coaches is humorous. They alone are the reason for the loss the last time they played. If they run the ball… they win. It’s that simple. But nope, they kept trying to pass the ball, which led to 4 or 5 interceptions.
  3. Is Jackson Wilson back? If so, Bradley will be tough.
  4. Not true. If WV loses tonight they can still host if they beat McMinn.
  5. I understand. I’m just saying they lost to three good teams and were in each game.
  6. Several things…WV lost 26 seniors last year. Lots of youth playing (which will pay off). Lost their starting RB (acl) during fall camp. Personally, I think McMinn is the jekl/Hyde team. WV has been in every game and could have won them… whereas McMinn has not.
  7. This should be the easiest decision ever. Bring back DD,… unless Polk likes sucking.
  8. Not a lot of use for that guy. Five years ago he was hired as the head coach of Ocoee Middle school program. With less than a week before the first game he bailed on kids to go be a position coach at McMinn. Karma is coming for that guy.
  9. Crittendon is so tough defensively she would have made a difference. I am not a Bradley fan btw.
  10. We gonna act like Crittendon didn’t go down 51 seconds into the game? Oakland won, yes, but losing Crittendon was a big deal for Bradley.
  11. They were definitely impressive! Not used to seeing that much talent on a public high school roster.
  12. I agree…..based on what I saw last night. Cane Ridge is stupid good.
  13. I see Bartlett vs Cane Ridge for the Championship with Cane Ridge winning it all.
  14. No, I’m not wanting higher seeds to play at home. A neutral floor would be great! I have spoken with ADs, coaches, parents, etc. It was presented to be a TSSAA thing. Apparently not. I know for a fact that both McMinn and WV both wanted to play locally. I honestly believe this was an over site by the members. Maybe the all of the members of region 4 will come up with solutions for the future as it really is better for kids to get to play in front of their fans?
  15. Maybe Region 4 will get their act together then and provide more flexibility in the future. Glad region 1 has it figured out.
  16. I’m not pissed. I asked for an explanation. They allow venue changes if all teams from same district win first round OR if both teams from same district meet in finals. Why can’t this happen in the semis if both teams playing are from same district? What was the rationale? The hosting school and TSSAA could profit way more by allowing these situations to happen.
  17. I asked for an explanation. Telling me someone made a decision a year ago isn’t explaining the logic behind the decision. Try again. This time communicate like two adults having a civil conversation.
  18. I never griped. I asked for an explanation. I also never said “yeah, but”. I also never asked to be attacked. My question is valid. Why? Why can they move locations if all teams from the same district win in the first round OR if both teams are in the finals??? Why is the semis so different? I get it. They meet a year before and decide things. I never demanded it be changed this year. Honestly, what you are not answering is the WHY behind their decision. You have yet to proved reasoning.
  19. You don’t get it. I never said it needed to be changed this year. I asked for a logical explanation as to why they didn’t allow it. Also, changing a location is simple, because they due it if all four teams from same district win the first round OR if both teams from same district are in the finals. Why can’t use the same logic in region semis? That is what I want to know! Logic seems to exist in the other rounds. If it takes a year to fix it, then fix it. More money will be made and it’s definitely better for kids.
