To all the ones that thought Upperman would beat SS, THANKS!! Now we have to face them on Thursday! I think our poor girls will be headed home!

I saw SS play a 7A school in Hewitt-Trussville High from Alabama that had at least two D1 players on it. I also saw SS play a very tough Cardinal Ritter Prep team from St. Louis that the shortest player on the team was about 6”1,’ and those girls are all recruited in to play. They arguably have about 4-5 D1 players on it. What are you seeing @UCSportsFan? I’m not even a fan of SS, just of the game! They even came to Gibson Co and beat them by 30 pts, the same team that recently beat Westview. Do you think they really want to play SS? Their coach is obviously scared to play them as they try to play WV every year and they (WV) will only agree to play SS at home! That’s fear buddy! I honestly don’t see a school around here that can handle those girls. I’m not quite sure you really know basketball though. . . No shots taken, but you’re obviously confused about who SS really is.

From a totally unbiased fan of the game and no ties to either team, it was VERY clear that the refs favored Upperman! I e seen it all week against SS! Piss poor refereeing and they did everything possible to help the other teams win the first two games. Today was pathetic and embarrassing as a spectator! From what I hear, SS returns most of their players, so good/better luck next year!

Absolutely! From what I’ve been told from the folks at SS, non of the other teams in those other areas will play them. They had less than 20 reg season games and couldn’t get anyone to schedule them. They are young and definitely will be back! That coaching staff coached a heck of a game too!

Yeah, that was the score, but that record of Lincoln Co. is nothing man. They are not that good of a team AT ALL!! They had more “unforced” turnovers than points. It was a lot of home cooking going on too! Your refs are terrible and you could definitely tell they like Page. No, that wasn’t the reason for the win, but they weren’t going to ever let that game get close. . . LC is not good. . . Page is again good but not great. Maybe it was a bad night for them. . . #3 seems pretty good but fouled out. #00 plays ZERO defense! #23 was OK. . . Can’t remember anyone else, but I wasn’t impressed.

Man!! I went to watch SS when they played South Gibson a couple weeks ago and that defense was furious!! I think they’re ranked 2nd in AAA! Coach McNeal has built a great program there and that defense he coach’s up is scary to play against! Looking at their schedule, they average upper 50-low 60 per game. If they give that with their defense. . . . Ewwww Teams better watch out for them!

I was there too buddy. Wish I could’ve met you! I agree with you though. . . Page was not all that impressive to me either. This was the second time I’ve watched them this year and thought they were just “good” not “great” both times. #3 is pretty good but tends to foul a lot. She fouled out tonight. I think once they play some of the better AAA teams, they’ll get exposed. They’re decent though but not dominant.

This is absolutely the worst district in all of America! Like, everybody's playing for experience, just knowing they don't stand a chance against Southside. Our kids at Northside won't ever win, regardless of talent, because our coaches suck! Southside will beat us by 30 on Tuesday! I'm thinking about staying at home! Flipping subjects: Somebody needs to get a handle on the little boy from McNairy, #12 White! He has the worst temper I've seen! He tries to fight someone in every game and intensionally tries to hurt someone! He is a cancer to that team! If he ever does anything to my child, I'm going to help mine whoop his lil tail! It's ridiculous!!

I can't agree totally... It seemed as if quarters 1-3 favored WV. As a netural fan, the refs missed several foul calls on WV. It was said that there was 25-26 foul calls on WV to SS 7... SS plays tough and tight defense but they really don't often foul. WV's coach teaches to keep a hand on the back of the opponents. There were a couple obvious pushes that should've been called. The big 7' 400lb girl from WV fouls all the time! She did in the game Monday night as well. They don't call that on her though. A couple girls from WV travels Everytime they touch the ball. Now, the refs did favor SS in the 4th but I felt as if they deserved a little. It was overall a great game to me. Both coaches coached great. If SS hadn't have lost Miller, they would've smashed WV imo... She's worthy of 25-40 pts any given night! Prayers for her and best wishes to both teams!

Big facts! SS will probably be unbeatable next season! SS played terrible tonight and had all the chances to beat SG! They led most of the game till the 4th... There were some pretty tough calls and no calls by the Beetlejuices, but I don't think it totally determined the outcome of the game. Tough loss though!

Yeah big momma was running with her mouth wide open tonight! SS will take advantage of that! Coach McNeal will have them right for that moment! If the beetle juices call a fair game, I can't see WV beating SS. Tonight against Crockett, I thought there was a lot of questionable calls (and no calls)... We'll see Wednesday night!

Sooooo since Southside Lady Hawks handled Crockett County tonight, can they beat Westview too? WV beat them by 30 earlier in the year... remember? I say SS by 13! Chime in! Lemme hear you!!!
