  1. I saw Farragut play Beech in game one and only thought as they walked by, they are a small team. They have some good size kids like Alley (whos a gamer) but overall pretty small as a team. They will struggle with teams with speed and size.
  2. He’s a small bag of muscle
  3. Potts yelling at the sideline on back to back plays is very telling of where this team is right now.
  4. Dropped 3 games last year to Tri-City teams. Is that correct 0-3, depending on how you view Elizabethton in regards to Tri-City area. 2 games in the Tri-Cities and 1 at home. I'm not knocking AC, just seeing where the we will play anyone anytime mentality comes from when the schedule is pretty basic. Scheduling Powell is a good rivalry and I hope it continues. Would like to see AC do what Powell has done get Catholic, Beech (or Nashville area) and Maryville. For the record, I like Davie and follow AC because I want him to do well.
  5. Agree with that. Lowe has a tough task ahead of him.
  6. Should be a good matchup. AC seems to struggle heading to the Tri-Cities and Walker will determine how it goes. Science Hill got bounced last year by the #4 while they were the number #1. Not sure who the comment of team was directed in regards to playing bigger schools, but went back a few years and didn't see AC playing Maryville, Alcoa or even Catholic. Seems Powell has been the marquee game of the year. I'd like for Davie to schedule a home and home with some of those teams or even a team like Farragut.
  7. It's an interesting recruitment for sure. Offers from P5 early in High School and his numbers has yet to meet the offer sheet. Heard he was more viewed as a DB and not a WR because of his inconsistency at WR. He got hit with tragedy in his life, but definitely not one that I would have figured would still be on the board at this point.
  8. Said it last week, unless 11 and 9 can get the ball in creative ways it's going to be a long season. Wheeler is a nice athlete and will be solid but not sure you need the game going through his hands right now.
  9. Difference in D1... Power 5, no. Could he go on to a Tennessee Tech or even App State and be successful. Yes. Nobody is confusing with Donte Hightower.
  10. Even a separation requires weeks of rehab. Great news that no surgery and he'll recover with his age. Don't look to see him anywhere near what we've seen in the past. My oldest separated their shoulder and it was 10 weeks of rehab and that was no playing as it was offseason. His could be less but it won't be a simple recovery.
  11. Seems to be close when they play. I got same score.
  12. Game could have been easily 21-0, nice end zone pick by Green kept them in it for a moment.
  13. That’s a tough one too if that is indeed what it ends up being. He planned to be an early enroll at Tech too.
  14. He took a sack hit/intentional grounding hit and camera angle wasn’t good but he stayed down. He stayed in but was out a few plays later.
  15. Kind of agreeing with what you said. Not sold on AA but All State type kid.
  16. Davie had them ready to play, had Potts been healthy I’m not sure they win. Down 13-0 when he got hurt.
  17. Adjust the offense, go shorter game and let Green and Redmond take over
  18. Might be over before halftime. Unless Potts is coming back out which does not look like it, this one’s over. Does not look like Green, Redmond and JJ are wanting or getting the ball to take pressure off Stooksbury.
  19. Redmond needs to somehow get involved in the game.
