Camden is a proud place with a lot of support. I think they will be back in time. When is anyones guess but will come.

No talent in the uppercases and injuries from the kids that can play. Coach McConnell has his hands full. He will get them turned back around once his youth starts to get bigger and stronger. We all need to get our licks in while we can.

Last week Waverly showed a lack of heart and motivation. From what I can tell, they are not a team and just don't really care. I guess we will see this week. It would be nice if this team can rebound and get together. Waverly is young and still growing. Hopefully teamwork and heart will grow with them. I am a fan of Waverly and bleed blue. After last week, I can't say I think they will win. I hope I'm wrong.

Well their coach has had four winning seasons in 16 YEARS! Last season being only the fourth with a senior heavy team. Perry county is 30/76 over the last decade. Flipping a coin would be the best bet on this one.

I dont know where you heard that they were good. They are from California that really doesn't mean anything. Man it was HOOOOOOT out there. Conditioning showed for sure. It had to be even hotter on turn and in all the gear. Im here to eat my crow. We are not where we need to be but I'm sure we will see some changes. It would have been nice to some noticeable adjustments. I didn't stay to the end but for as good as wav was last week they were bad today. Curious if there would have been a difference if we played last night. Thinking the heat played a role.

I think it has more to do with a tropical depression by the time it gets here. Estimates of 2-4 inches of rain and high wind with lightening and potential tornadoes. We will play rest assured. It seems more like y’all scared to play us since your supposed to be down this year. I don’t think that’s the case but it does look like it since we are a passing team and the weather should hamper our play style. You being the super dominate team you are that can’t be it.

It will be hard to count matt out, you are correct. heck he coached this years juniors and seniors so he knows what waverly has. It will be great. Hopefully the rain stays out of the way.

Who really knows. This season, if we get to play it all, is going to be crazy. I bet he comes with some tricks though. Single wing would be most assured but he also knows that’s what we would expect. Looking forward to the game if we can even get in.

I have seen several posts saying different schools were playing then not playing. Some closed for a few weeks. I hope this thread will serve as a centralized location for who is doing what. Please help us see the roadmap. i have heard rumors about Houston County and Huntington shutting down.
