  1. It’s happened before (not with him or the team specifically) and it will continue to happen until they required to be out for x amount of time. Not saying he will wrestle but an interesting storyline
  2. Are you talking about 170 with DB and WC? What happened?
  3. That would be a huge difference! Thanks for letting me know! Appreciate it!
  4. Oh I understand that, I’m just wondering what were the matches that changed the outcome
  5. DB beat SHHS in Region 1 AA 70-9 in the finals

  8. Was a heck of a throw by Watterson in the first period.
  9. The issue is the wrestler’s arm was blocked and was not returned safely to the mat or allow to brace himself. I would have call the same thing
  10. How Tennessee has faired against seeded opponents at the Beast of the East: Jakob from DB at 113 lost to the #3 seed 5-3, but has come back and upset the #14 and #7 seeds in back to back matches. Titus Norman from DB at 126 lost 6-4 to the #10 seed Max Norman from DB and 152 upset the #3 seed 6-4 Ben Tucker from DB at 138 got pinned by the #15 seed Hunter Mason from Greeneville at 138 has beaten the #15 seed 12-6 Michael Posey from Summit lost to #16 seed 14-0 Brayden Leech from Summit upset the #9 seed 4-1 but lost to the #8 seed 6-1 Luke Justice lost to the #2 seed 11-3
  11. That’s awesome! Greeneville has been a force in the coaching realms for a long time, and I don’t see that changing anytime soon. The pedigree of all the coaches, starting with you has been outstanding
  12. DB has come a long way from where they were. They have made huge steps starting with making their first state dual appearance right before 2010. Their middle school teams didn’t start until around 2005. With those growing and E3 building, you can see DB being relevant for a long time. They have had two guys, at the head, for a while, which consistency matters. Coach Mann was there for a long time and the program he took over, leaving Greeneville, couldn’t fill a whole team. Then when he left, the teams were state dual qualifiers every year and had guys placing in the state tournament almost every year. Coach Idlette has done a great job taking over and it looks like he will be there for a long time with a lot of successes as well. East TN wrestling is getting better and better which is a wonderful thing for the sport in Tennessee.
  13. Cleveland vs WC in the finals Bradley vs. Summit in the 3rd place match. Sorry about that!
  14. Is the teams receiving votes just in alphabetical order or by the amount of votes they received?
  15. AA Cleveland Maryville Bradley WC Semis Cleveland WC Finals Cleveland 3rd place match Bradley Summit 3rd winner bradley
  16. Dobyns-Bennett record is 6 seconds by Adam Mann
  17. Jackson Hurst is going to UTC in the class of ‘21
  18. I believe Maryville beat the Hill last year. DB lost all 4 state placers from last year.
  19. Here is how I see it. We can debate the rest of the off-season how one region or one kid is looked over because they are too good and we have a vendetta against them, or we can give props to the person who won MOW, by dominating his bracket. Tre - you left no doubt you were the best wrestler in your bracket. Congrats on winning MOW! Tre put himself in a position to be in the running by DESTROYING his opponents. The two points he gave up in the technical fall, in the semis, were two escapes (one he let him up to take him down for the TF). You all may not agree with who won it, but you cannot say he didn’t earn the MOW. I would be saying the same thing if Cody, Bradford or anyone else who won MOW. I support wrestling as a whole and not just one team or one region.
