  1. People seem to forget the Tornado girls. Also the Gatlinburg Pitman girls. The East teams that played in the semifinals last yr. Both teams reloaded with freshman talent also. Also don’t leave out Mcminn Central chargers either
  2. Yes They get about 3-4 baseball players every yr to come in to play there lol oh and Wrestler too
  3. This is not correct. Alcoa wanted that game! I was at mr football and got to meet coach W. While standing with him and Rankin I said “let’s get a game together right here”. Coach W said “NO” and walked away with out even saying nice to meet you FACT
  4. Murval Always has college level talent every yr. just not the stand out flashy guy because they all play as a team
  5. Well since you say I’m an expert I’ll say great coaches can get players to perform above their level a lot of times by having them mentally ready to beat the other team by - if anything being in the right place all the time. But to win at the highest level you must have the Jimmy’s and Joe’s along with decent coaching. To be the best you need Great coaches and great players. You understand this I’m sure. Oh I could have coach Alcoa the last 4yrs and probably won the same games because they were much better athletes than every team they played. all I was asking you is over the last 30yrs with 1800-2000 students why William Blount hasn’t been at least to the 3rd of the playoffs a few times. your Alcoa comment is not correct and needs things added like how many of those great players were playing both ways when maryville had none going both ways. Also Murval always has talent. Maybe not power 5 talent of certain kids certain yrs from Alcoa but they always have collegiate level guys and Depth. So what you said isn’t true. I will give you last yr though. Alcoa was deep and loaded with talent but got beat I wanted your opinion on William Blount because I can’t quite figure it out. that’s all
  6. My point was historically WB has not done well. They had a couple really good coaches around 2004-2007 Reed/Meadows and both left. Why do you think they left? Players leaving? Don’t get me wrong. Some of the things you bring up should not happen and those things seem to lead to bad coaching. Didn’t 2 guys from South Doyle come over? Surely they know what they’re doing. Right??
  7. Because I don’t know I’m asking. How many above .500 teams has WB has since 1990 do you happen to know why I ask is because I don’t know if they will ever have a 7-8 win season. Since I have been around the best kids always leave there and I have been around since 2006
  8. I’m believe you have never been to a Murval game or just don’t quiet understand the level of the Rebs (1 of to 5 teams in the state every yr) if you think AC offense is on the level the Rebs are.
  9. No 3a team is within 28pts of the Tornadoes as long as the QB stays healthy They will “walk”/Sprint past everyone to Ring #7 straight
  10. Murval 45-28. after seeing AC score what they did I would not put it past Murval scoring 55/60 pts though AC team compared to Murval. There is no comparison Sorry Powell Fans your team with all your D1 guys are not on the same level as the Red guys coaches and game Preparation
  11. The wing t is tough. Most teams these days don’t run it. In the past it gave us fits to see it in like the state title game against Covington. So much miss direction. Pulling and kicking the end and trapping the d tackles but usually coach gamble and nix got the boys squared after a couple series and things settle down
