Westview offense showed some life in the 2nd half defense also played a solid game. Chargers get the win but still a long ride home.

Good thing Westview defense showed up to play the first half because clearly the offense was not ready to go. This is painful to sit and watch. Hopefully the defense comes out after halftime and still plays ball.

I do believe Primetime is trying to ruffle some feathers. I do believe that Westview could be sitting at 5-0 right now but it's not because I think they are a dominant team by no means but I believe they are getting better every week and I say that because they showed that the second half of the Dyer Co game and you can't go off anything with the Scott's Hill or Liberty game. I dont know if Westview beats Ripley or not but I dont see them even keeping if close against Dyersburg . I will say I really like how the defense is playing hard especially with so many being Freshman and Sophmore's. Donteze is a good player but Westview has to be able to find the other receivers more than a few times a game to beat a good team. And as far as rushing our top rusher is barely over 200 yards for the year. I'm not dumping on my team but I'm being honest.

Gleason is having a good year but no they don't need to be in this poll.

I say Dresden by 21. Obion Co still not that good.

Humboldt #77 is a way better basketball player than football player. There's noway he plays football in the SEC.

When Scott's Hill came to Westview a couple weeks ago I really expected a pretty good game. Westview was up 42-0 at the half and Westview had some starters that didn't play. I believe Scott's Hill had a negative 6 yards for the game. Westview is not a terrible team this year but they are down from the team they have had the past two years. I would say Mckenzie scores at will and Scott's Hill won't see the endzone.

I believe Dyer Co takes this game. Westview has to get some players back this week to even have a chance. You can't judge where Westview really is right now as a team because their last two opponents lets just say are struggling right now.

I'm going with Westview by 14.

This would eventually save the County alot of money. The County is currently paying for almost 50 more teachers than what the State allows for. I'm sure they would never vote for a 1 County School or for 2 Schools in the County but if everyone wants to keep their own school then let every School go to their own Special School District like some of the other Schools around us.

With the starters that Westview is Graduating and the 3 year starter at lineman that just moved to East Tennessee to play his senior year i really believe we will struggle this year. Curious to see how we look during spring training. I'm really hoping some of these young kids are working hard and will be able to give some help.

As a long time supporter of Westview im very concerned about some rumors that have been floating around all season. Apparently there has been a huge drop off of discipline and a lack of physicality being taught to these athletes. They say the offense and defense was not allowed to go full contact as season long. Why? I could see later in the season or maybe playoffs letting up some but all season long! They say only Varsity kids were allowed to lift and that JV would do box jumps, jump rope, with very little weight lifting. I would think this is not correct information but theirs to many talking about it not to be true. I hope I'm wrong but I would say Westview will come out of this Region at best #3 but could fall to #4-#6.
