I think NC scheduling 3 (AA)opponents may help them later on, Grace will answer the question against NC Friday night , DCA young and battling numbers . The middle 1 and 4 have easier route to State. Upper bracket going be a battle! I know you want to beat FC but 2 East looks to be easier route to Chattanooga. CA and Columbia battle for last spot in playoffs.

USJ is well coached and kids are solid on assignments. USJ QB is a good player, if he can find the big tight end Seals USJ wins. JC was in a close one with Columbia Academy called at half due to weather. Columbia much improved but not in top of Div2A yet. So USJ my prediction.

Why did the Lively kid leave ? Parents get relocated to Lebanon?

Congrats LA, that was a great high school game. Great exposure for the LA kids on college recruiting .

Springfield looks great QB is solid. This team has a chance to be in State game.

I'll give LA credit for opening facilities to other kids at other schools. Lots of skill/speed/strength guys teach from LA facilities and this has made for better players across mid-state area for everyone. If you are around LA facilities off season/ in season/ weekends always busy! They always have camps going on by variety of organizations. Most schools don't have indoor practice facilities and most of the ones that do keep them sealed up. The indoor at LA was done prior to CTD arrival but he runs his program like a college these guys have brunch as a team on Saturdays watch film and lift. They have special team session on Sunday afternoon. Family friend son graduated from LA last year told me the schedule. Not sure of recruiting stuff but that schedule sounds like work for coaches, players, & parents to me. So winning is going happen.

Middle -NC , DCA . NC scrimmaged JP2 looked very good against much bigger school. DCA won jamboree 14-7 against Springfield 5A who has very good team . West - USJ dominated in preseason, JC skill guys look good early scrimmages. East -FC will run away with the east . Two of these 5 will be in Chattanooga!

I like the list maybe change order in a few spots and Pope losing coach going forward bigger deal than most think. I'd have no problem putting DCA in at 10. BA new big QB going set the tone for the season.

Any possibilities the Thursday night games get some TV coverage?

Both coaches in D2A State Championship game this past season left D2AAA schools for current jobs, maybe they are already making the big bucks.

A -DCA Repeat AA- LA Repeat AAA - MBA talent catches up with facilities.

Scheduling outside TN is a must for LA if they are going be in top 100.

Numbers off returning all state under classman , no doubt it takes a team top to bottom but having solid players in off season helps mold the future of programs. AAA - Pope 4 (one being Soph) , MBA 3 , McCallie 2 ( one being Soph) Baylor 2. AA - LA 3 (one being Soph) ,DA 2, Lausanne 2. A - DCA 4 ( one being a Soph) , NC 2, JC 2 , FC 2 . A few schools had one returning .

I would think LA and CPA with rosters of over 100 kids each have way more depth than most teams.

Lots of talent on the field tomorrow, I mentioned All the Mr Football finalist playing also all the TN All State( 1st & 2nd team) kids b/w LA & CPA total 18 , DCA /NC total 17 . I encourage everyone who loves HS football get out to the games 70 degrees Thursday and Friday.
