ORHS will be back on top soon enough, I am sure of it. We need to get some fundamental things sured up as a program, starting with coaching, scheme and S&C and we will be back contending for state titles. And not off a fluke season like last year.

HTV, what is your obsession with Powell? Did you even go there?

Oh good grief! I understand that as a UT Fan and Bills Fan.

Who is their S&C coach? This is obviously a huge issue currently and will be moving forward.

"HVA has been bad for a while, now." However, they have the same number of playoff wins as your beloved Powell Panthers since 2013. Additionally, from 2013-2020, HVA has 43 wins and Powell has 37. And Powell plays 5A football. Seems to me like you should consider doing some research. Or at least define what you mean by "a while."

That is absolutely incredible, if true. However, I am with Sweet. If you were going to shuffle the staff, that should've been done a month ago, at least. This season is dead in the water. Makes JG look like he has lost control. Which may not be far from the truth. This is unacceptable.

Has to be an issue on the Gallatin end of things. Chandler would not deny his players the opportunity to compete. He loves competition and calling Blazing Fast Plays. Love his style of play!

How does a city school system not have a full-time strength and conditioning coach? Look at Kingsport City, Maryville City, Johnson City, Alcoa City... all four have full-time guys. Crazy. Unacceptable.

I understand the importance of winning football games and the impact that losing can have on a program. But I don't understand where you draw the line? If the guy is graduating his kids and molding them into good young men, is he not doing his job? The buck has to stop somewhere. These guys are essentially doing this for free and people are going to sit here in the first of October and talk job security. That's shameful.

I take Campbell County if they put more than 1 DL with his hand on the ground. Oak Ridge OL is thinner than wet newspaper. I think they've got something against their QB.

Great logic. In 2019, Georgia State beat TN and TX State beat Ga State. So TX State was better than UT? You would benefit from actually learning something about the game of football before taking to the keyboard, troll.

Who is the OC, OL and S&C Coach at ORHS?

I just don't understand the issues with Oak Ridge. I understand that the offensive line struggles but I just don't accept that as an excuse. There are things you can do offensively to help the offensive line and still get positive yards. This is honestly just so puzzling to me.

I have had the chance to watch both of these teams play this year and think this could be an excellent match up. Halls has played some decent defense this year but will it be good enough to slow down Bishop? The kid is a total stud. Thoughts?

Had the chance to watch this game after grabbing some A&W. Several big plays were the defense, specifically, fluke plays. One in particular was a Halls DB getting a hand on a ball, it bounced off the hands of a SC WR and into the hands of another SC WR for a TD. Ultimately came down to the SC Defense on a 4th and Short stop. I must note, SC is playing great defense this year. Nearly cutting their average PPG allowed in half from last season and 2019.

This isn't the NFL, HTV. It has been some time since a Knox County school has "let go" of a coach for a win/loss record. As long as the train is on the track and the kids are behaving, I don't see a change. Unless the coach decides to resign.
