  1. Do we know who the 1st round opponent is?
  2. Josh is a good coach, no question, IMO. Where I think Rang is a little better is the guy is a thinker like Heupel. OR needs more S&C work to be able to contend with these real strong teams.
  3. If they do, that's a real success story for Coach Osovet.
  4. Yea, wish we could have had that bomb with no time left for Bearden to come back!
  5. I haven't seen Bradley outside of 1 half of ball. Bearden will be a hard out for anyone, including Bradley, Oakland, Maryville or anyone else. Deep, talented, well coached.
  6. Derek made some adjustments at halftime. Helped the run and pass game and the D, but, Bearden's OL just flat wore our DL down to a frazzle late. Still, fun game against a real good team, I ain't too sad about it.
  7. Tough well coached crew. Bearden is so deep, they just keep sending in these fast kids. Coach Gaddis told me pre season that Josh thinks they can win the state next season. They'll be a hard out for anyone, IMO.
  8. Bearden's OL is just stronger than OR's DL. They're a better team. It was a really good HS ballgame with few penalties and I wish OR had won, but, I'm pleased with our effort. Hat's off to the mighty Bulldogs of Bearden.
  9. Heard Austin Price say he thinks Bearden's secondary will win them this game, so we'll see. He picked FHS to beat us last Friday, he ain't perfect.
  10. Kinda what I'm thinking. Hope you're wrong though!
  11. Gonna go with the tribe in a close one
  12. I never saw a HC coach JV game myself. Everyone but CHS wants to play these games. Maybe Coach Keith is smarter than all other coaches in the Knoxville area?
  13. Yea, I think OR gets a win , too. Like SS above, I hope we get lots of young kids PT.
  14. He's doing his own program a dis service refusing to play the JV game.
  15. I haven't seen AC yet. I know you can't do this, but, Powell is a common rival for AC and OR and I just watched us play CHS. I think it will be a close, close game. Maybe 30-26. I just don't have a feel for which one. Good luck to both teams.
  16. My son commented on that pre game, "Joe's already pacing, 20 to the 20 pre game"
  17. Yep. The 2cd team TB is a smaller sophomore. I just don't think he could handle serious PT except against weak teams. I'm afraid you're right on Dozier getting banged up will take it's toll.
  18. That's funny. I can still see Gene Davis grasping at air cause Helton wasn't there anymore. That kid from CHS is like that, not as good a passer as Todd.
  19. No kidding, they were a tough out back just a few years back.
  20. IF CHS doesn't get the pick 6 and the fumble run back for a TD, it would have been 34 - 12. That's pretty darn good guessing of you, IMO. I guessed 24-21 OR.
  21. We've faced that kid 4 times and he has always given OR fits. He's just so darn quick. If we blitz we miss and then an open pass is there, if we don't he's a pretty good pure QB. OR's DL played fairly well, CHS couldn't run well at all and we sorta contained Keith(sorta). I'm an OR guy so it was frustrating to watch. First play, we fumble and CHS goes about 65 yards TD! Tons of holding penalties, then seconds left in the half OR is up I think 17-12 and we get a 90 yard pick six against us! Pretty stupid play there. It was a good game because both teams were hitting hard. CHS has a whole lot of athletic talent. OR does, too. I talked to Joe after the game and he was thrilled going out on a win.
  22. I'm almost positive Scott's biological father is Johnny Golden of OR.
