I’m sure it’s been wished before … but man I wish TSSAA would let the ball continue and do a little 4 team champions bracket — that would be awesome!! now that we have 4 classifications — would be more money so never know!

Here would be my “pool” of teams….. I will have to study a little more to pick the champions right now, and secure that coveted home court for the “sub-state” games…. I personally believe Region 5 and 6 have a lot of good teams, with very experienced post season coaches! I have bolded who I currently think will make the state tournament. Region 1 - Gatlinberg Pittman - Alcoa - South Greene Region 2 - McMinn Central - meigs- tellico plains —- Polk county Region 3 - Westmoreland — York — smith county Region 4 - east Nashville — community — pearl cohn Region 5 - lorreto — summertown —- Cheatham —— sycamore Region 6 - Gibson county — west view — Stewart county — union city — Hickman Region 7 - bolivar central — Decatur — Memphis business Region 8 — no idea

I am going to have to agree with this list, with York being my 5B …. Westmoreland coach does a great job of scheduling tough opponents, no one should be fooled by their record… but that west , but not too far west region and sub-state games are going to be a state tournament in itself in 2A . merry Christmas everyone
