Lake Co reminds alot of Cloudland. Very Small School and Enrollment. All the Kids and Community are all in for their School and Friday Night brings out Everyone in their rural areas. Friends Neighbors Relatives for several generations see it as important to be there and support the team and kids like gathering for church on Easter. I have a lot of respect for these programs that never have a losing season despite having to play larger metro schools and having to travel a lot just to have 10 games. These folks are just a different breed. These people are tough as nails and resilient living in the “country”. Their kids are too and play with blood and guts every season despite being outsized both numerically and physically.

Continue to permit all Schools to choose to play up in classification. Elizabethton got robbed of a couple of State Titles or at the very least a Silver Ball when they dropped into 3A about 10yrs ago. Losing in the Semi’s to either CAK or the Knoxville area All Star team from Alcoa. Apparently the Admin assumed they’d be better off playing schools their size. I may be wrong but i believe they hold a record in Semi Losses to the eventual State Champion. 5 or 6x i believe. Would have been a great decision except for the aforementioned schools. TSSAA fixed the issue by placing CAK where they belonged In Private Class. Someone at the TSSAA needs to figure out what the heck Alcoa is doing to cheat. I refuse to believe that a school with 600 Kids is arguably one of the best teams EVERY YEAR regardless of classification. . They beat Maryville this year by 2 TD’s WTF is going on there? There’s just No Way based on the law of averages and their enrollment numbers that they’re not doing something illegal.

I don’t think it’s rocket science for the TSSAA to just double the enrollment figures for any school with just boys or girls in all sports. And keep the Privates separated in the Playoffs.

He was on Offense. He plays slot receiver. He made some catches and had several handoffs. Not sure about his stats.

Is He still coaching? At Unaka? Or did he move on to a better opportunity? Obviously he’s a hellave coach and I’d like to learn more about his recent success. .

Hey Southtown. . Good Q I’m at Every City Home Game. Have no #’s on him defensively. Jus know Memphis invited and Offered after workout. He’s a 6’3” kid who carries 230-235lb well and runs a sub 4.6 40 . He can play DE or outside LB and does both well. He’s utilizing as needed as a Rb on offense and is basically unstoppable. Hasn’t come up short on a 2 pt shotgun yet. . And actually not been tackled. He’s definitely one of the best 11 in 1A this year regardless of stats. He’ll make an impact playing D1 ball.

Amen Brother. . Basically same coaching staff. Moved D Coordinator Sisk to HC. And Olive is still the AD. He’s there overseeing the Program. You can be assured that if Olive foresaw any issues with either the staff or the kids thru spring summer practice or so far during the season it would have been addressed. There is no systematic problem with the program. Everyone knew whoever the HC was this season was going to be uphill. 4 or 5 wins at best was what everyone expected going into the season. And that’s still a possibility. I guarantee there’s no one more Disappointed by this kids locker room nonsense than Olive and Sisk. But to complain about everything from which kids are playing to the color of the uniforms is really getting old. These kids and coaches are working just as hard as they did last year. Just look at the attendance this year compared to last. I was in Chattanooga and on the THS side you would have thought Jesus Christ was coming back. 15,000 fair weather fans all screaming and yelling on every play all decked out in cardinal and black with the whole family in tow. Where are you folks now other than to ###### and moan about Everything. If all you nay sayers are so worried about the team then where are you on Friday Night? Either support your Program thru think and thin and Show Up or Shut Up. I’m sick of it

Fayetteville City is going to have a rematch with McKenzie. That’s a FACT. City had the talent last year to Win. And certainly this year. We’ll see how it all shakes out.

What happened to “school pride” and playing for their tradition and school pride. I’ve seen more and more big country strong kids say “I’d rather make $ mowing lawns or work for $ on a farm. . A small school CAN’T afford to have big athletic Kids NOT PLAYING.

I like Tullahoma’s chances. . Everyone knew losing basically the entire team to graduation it was going to be a growing year. I’m still optimistic that they win 3 or 4 games which going in i figured was about right. I’m hoping for a good crowd at home to support these kids.
