  1. Yes, you are wrong. Late in the second half Freeman through a deep ball that was intercepted. His only issue was he waited to long to release it. I do agree, however, he is more talented than Creasy.
  2. This year's contest is going to be a barn-burner. Riverdale has a dynamic quarterback along with many great weapons. Oakland has a great stable of running backs and very aggressive defensive and offensive lines. It has been publicly stated by a former Riverdale principal that this season reminds him of 2004, and some expletives directed toward Oakland. My guess is this game will be a classic along the lines of the 1971 Oklahoma vs Nebraska game. I would encourage everyone to get to the game early because you may not be able to find a seat.
  3. I would agree with you about Freeman, he does appear to be the better of the two. He did, however, get off to a shaky start with the ill-advised interception.
  4. Got to see the game tonight. Couple of things that I noticed. Oakland was very inconsistent offensively and defensively in the 1st and 3rd quarters, and were dominant in the second and most of the fourth. As for the QB's performance.......Creasy is still a little shaky when passing.
  5. Have had a chance to see them play since streaming the Center Grove game. Who is there starting QB now?
  6. Creasy was a proven commodity at the small school level, but at the end of the day good coaches are good coaches.
  7. I could not agree more with this post.
  8. Speaking of Oakland, I have heard that Tom Nolan (former principal of RHS) has been vocal as to what Riverdale is going to do with Oakland. I think an expletive was mentioned with a statement...."It feels like 2004." Can't wait to see this game.
  9. It is amazing what they have done for so long.
  10. Not sure I would compare the Riverdale dynasty to Maryville. Maryville's has been for decades,
  11. Looks like Tyguard got a taste of what sound football looks like.
  12. I would agree about Kade, he was one tough and talented player.
  13. Not bashing your analysis, just think that Oakland has taken a little step back this year. It is very understandable for a program that has won three straight 6A Championships.
  14. Not sure what game you were watching, but Oakland's secondary was beaten over and over while biting on play action. Oakland's offensive line was getting stymied at the point of attack, and there was subpar play at QB. Cedar Grove is definitely a good team, but I wouldn't go as far as to say no one in Tennessee could beat them.
  15. At least I am batting. What about your Warriors? Oh wait, have you already been moved from Riverdale?
  16. Oakland definitely got taken to the woodshed. From my point of view it doesn't appear the defense or offense was anywhere near what they have been in the past. Some very poor play by both the offensive and defensive lines and the secondary. However, I think it is going to be very interesting to see the improvement from game to game.
  17. Braggie, will you be carrying Kriesky's headsets tonight?
  18. I certainly agree with the statement above.
  19. I think Kriesky inherited a program with a depleted roster and lacking in physicality.
  20. Bragg, I have some sage advice for you. "Better to be silent and be thought a fool, instead of opening your mouth and removing all doubt."
  21. You are one clown, Bragg. Does Kriesky allow you to be the waterboy?
  22. I knew it. Riverdale definitely has some studst this years.
  23. Kriesky isn't worried about the HC, it's the players that he may be concerned about......just some light humor.
