At Hixson, 6:00, pouring down rain. The field was more of a mudpit, even though the rain stopped before the game began.
It was a dogfight throughout the whole game. Notre Dame scoring with 2.30 left in the first half. Hixson having 2 shots bouncing off the cross bar.
The second half was pretty evenly matched. Notre Dame scored off of a cross from a direct kick with 7 minutes left in the game. Hixson, with yet another shot off the crossbar.
Neither team really "dominated," the play was on both sides of the field. It was good to see both teams coming off the field talking with each other, though. It shows what the sport is really about.
