a great thing for eveyrone to would to quit talking all of this garbage, keep it a clean topic, and let these kids enjoy playing in the playoffs. it is about them and not the peolpe posting on here. lets talk about team matchups, strengths, weaknesses and things of that nature.

KAZ. i was not trying to open up a can of worms. just thought your comments were walking the line. everyone knows you are a part of the program. to me, the feeder program is the livelihood of any program. this is where tradition starts: winning, HARD WORK, wearing the uniform, pride ect. you are right, you can't make them play, but you can find the right buttons to push to keep them interested and motivated. if there is only 6 of the last 22 eight graders on the team, than we need to do something to keep these girls out! i have watched oneida sports since 1980,and was a member berofe of the teams before that. i read this board often,but rarely post. i probably shouldn't have this time, but life goes on.

i agree BIGINDIAN! its going to be just like coach stiltner said last week on weco, "this week everyone will find out what oneida football is about." lets hope hes right, and not blowing more hot air!

last night was absolutely the most pathetic offensive showing we have had in 20 years, especially when you consider who we were playing.(no pun towards oakdale, they just dont have the depth to stay with most teams, although they played a great game last night). we have to find some offense soon or we are in big trouble!

ask me , you are an embarrasement to the oneida team fans ect. you ran your mouth all week and gave coalfield plenty of bulletin board material. they played without their qb also. we all knew going in it would be a defensive game ,and the team that made the fewest mistakes would win. i call not protecting the ball coaching, as well as giving a a halfback pass on 3rd or 4th and long for a touchdwon from near midfield!!! our defense played ok for the most part, but also explain all the missed tackles davis broke, and giving up another touchdown on 4th and goal from the 8 when everybody in the whole stadium it had to be a pass play? coalfield palyed a good game last night and was the better team . it was the most lopsided loss from a coalfield team in my years of following oneida football. hats off to them, i hope we meet again.

our loss is your gain. coach henry did a very good job for many years here. he has coached some great lines at oneida. he will be missed. best of luck to him except this friday night.

ASK ME also both schools have a great tradition. especially when it comes to playing each other. maybe you should do some real research and quit pretending to know all of our tradition and making oneida look bad. anyone who has ever been involved in this series knows that you throw everything out the window in this game because either team can win no matter what the records, or any other materialistic stat.

we have good staff, but we have better with 8 coaches. thats more than has ever been on a oneida staff. coach B. has a good record, but you had also better look at who his assistants were when he went 11-1. with 8 coaches we had better win, or it will be heartbreaking shame for me!

from what ive seen in two games the tenacity is the same as it always has been since 1983, not any different than usual, just what is expected at oneida.

nice complement, but oneida has been known for being a tough defensive team since 1983 to the present. they have always played good D. this is also a defense that has alot of returning veterans. it should be a good year for oneida defensively.
