Seems like to me that this guy must like the band being at games just as much as the football team, because he was concerned enough to come to coacht band message board to talk about it. I don't know who won the game, but if i had to guess this guy's team lost and he's taking out on the band. Then again, i don't know who won.

Thanks for the update. I am also worried about the defense. Dyersburg always had a stingy defense under Counce no matter the talent. I hope the new coaches can do the same. Our defense must step up if they are going to live up to the hype.

Dyersburg and Milan scrimmaged today with Dyersburg winning 8-3. Mistakes were made on both sides but I did see the potential of a offensive monster in Dyersburg. They put up 56 points and Tyler Caldwell only touched the ball 4 or 5 times.

Rashad Taylor has taken over at quarterback, with Justin Whitfield taking his spot at slot. They will know more tomorrow about Logans thumb. I was told he is having surgery for a broken thumb with possible ligament damage on his throwing hand. What ever the injury is the early word is 8 to 12 weeks. Good luck to Logan and I hope he has a speedy recovery.

It was only Dyersburg and Lake County. When I left it was like 62 to 14 Dyersburg. Rashad Taylor, Justin Click and Victor Maclin looked very impressive along with Logan Parker

Taylor will be moved from QB to slot. Dyersburg will have Taylor and Caldwell both in the backfeild

I talked to Tyler Caldwell's Dad yesterday and he said the phone has been ringing off the hook. I asked who and he said Ole Miss , Miss State , Tenn , Memphis , Arkansas St and MTSU. I don't know what ringing off the hook means but thats what he said.

I was not there to witness the 40 times, but my information comes from a very reliable source (Counce Jr). He said that you would have a hard time finding a faster backfield than what Dyersburg will put on the field this year. Also I do know that several D-1 schools have inquired about Caldwell. His grades seem to be a problem.

Right now Justin Click is taking snaps with the 1st string. Justin was Taylors back up last year and runs a 4.4. Thats one scary back field. Taylor and Caldwell were clocked in the 4.3s this spring.

Dyersburg has spring practice in May.

I do know that James Counce Jr. from Dyersburg has been offered a job on McGugin's staff.

I hope Lipscomb is prepared for Dyersburg's I formation since we run it about 5% of the time and we never run the option. Should be a good game. Good luck to both teams. Go Trojans!!!

I tell you what I am sick of. It is people like you making a general statement of "Dyersburg Fans". Sure there are fans from Dyerburg that say things out of line, but give me a break. I am a Dyersburg fan and will tell you right now that Crockett is the best team in West TN and maybe the state. Hope to see you in about four weeks.

No doubt about it, Crockett County beat Dyersburg. I think what he meant by his comment was Covington's defense is by far the best defense that Dyersburg has faced. Crockett's fire power on offense vs Covington's defense should be a good one.
