  1. Lawrence County won last night 9 to 8 in the bottom of the 7th. Had a 8 to 1 lead at one point and let them get back in it.
  2. Everyone makes mistakes, but that was a low blow. I know I go to school with you Purple, even though I don't know you, but you need to know someone personally before making statements like that about them. On a different note, every game doesn't have to do with the officiating. After every game you point out how the officials did more so than you do the players.
  3. Lincoln Co really suprised me last week when Lawrence Co played them last week. They are a much better team than most people have gave them credit for this year. They have a chance in every game they play, no matter who the opponent
  4. As always it will all come down to the Shelbyville Lawrence County game on the 3rd. It will be a much better game now that LCHS is healthy. Shelbyville is a great team this year as always, though, and will be a very tough match. I see them meeting again in the district championship also. Should be a great run to region /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />
  5. In our defense, some of the calls were pretty rough. I think I speak for most of the crowd though, when I say most people just yell to be yelling. Great game though, Lawrence County had to play from behind which they haven't been used to most of the year. I'm glad to see that aspect of their game. After Tullahoma Tuesday we have two big games against Franklin and Shelbyville. Really looking foward to the Shelbyville game, It should be a much better game the second time around.
  6. Lawrence County came out playing great but foul trouble for Jordyn may have hurt. They did a great job of getting Hannah Dawson in foul trouble to though but didn't seem to take advatage of her being on the bench which tells me Shelbyville isn't a fluke at all. The players hurt for LC right now will both be back by then. Moore will definetly help and Claire Franklin is somewhat unknown in what she can do so I guess we'll wait and see. Great job by both teams though and can't wait till the rematch /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
  7. Lawrence County lacks in talent but makes up for it in team chemistry this year. Their gonna have to play great tomorrow night to come out with a win though. Not a huge game but I bet you can't tell the players that. Lawrence County by... 4
  8. Lawrence County looked good as predicted last night. Luffman with 13 Robbins with 16 and Freshman Emily Williams with a huge game as she looks to contribute tons to this team this year. As for District. 1. Shelbyville 2.Lawrence County 3.Franklin 4.Lincoln 5.Columbia 6.Coffee 7.Tullahome
  9. Lawrence County has not been playing there best ball of late. They will have to drastically change that tonight if they want a district championship to take back with them. I'm not gonna make a prediction, but LawCo will have to play there very best to win tonight. That being said, it's not likely the same team beats Lawrence County 3 times in one year.
  10. LC played a great game all night. Let Columbia back in it a little during the 3rd quarter but played excellent overall. Luffman and Spann both had big games with 14 and 20. Things are really getting tight in district. If Columbia beats Shelbyville in the next matchup there will be a 3 way tie for 1st I believe. And If Columbia loses then Shelbyville will take first and LC will take 2nd. There are other district games also but this one has to be the one to watch.
  11. Lawrence County in my opinion needs to open up the middle by driving and kicking. When they hit outside shots it spreads the defence out and drives are much more effective. I honestly think the girls get to worried about the thought of big games and don't play to their capabilities. If they get over that then they will be just fine come tournament time.
  12. When Lawrence County gets hot from the outside, it gets out of hand. If LC starts hiting three's tomorrow night, I say Lawrence County will win by 10 or 12. If not then it will be a close game like it usually is between these two. Shelbyville won't let it get to out of hand though.
  13. I guess its time to start thinking about the Huge district game Friday night in Shelbyville. Lawrence County has had a almost flawless year so far and Shelbyville is once again one of the top teams in district even though injuries have slowed them so far this year. Any thoughts on who will prevail?
  14. I was suprised to hear the score of this game even though Shelbyville does have players out. Whats the latest on the hurt players?..Will they be back before the Lawrence County showdown next Friday?
  15. Coach I was just wondering when you were going to have Guys Game photos up
  16. Huge upset tonight with Lawrence County over Columbia. Delay of game call with 17 seconds put 2 seconds back on the clock and ended up meaning a lot when Nick Cambell hit a game winner with less than a second left. Lawrence County played good throughout though and was really a great game to watch.
  17. Lawrence County JV is good, but means nothing until you get to Varsity. Some of the guys are talented, but its so much different in Varsity ball. Not taking anything away from them though becuase they are good. Last year Lawrence Counties JV team lost only 1 game though.
  18. Lawrence County came out firing early and gained a 15-3 lead. Columbia came back and made it a game for a while then Lawrence County turned it on and put it out of reach. They really played strong tonight and big game for Erin Robbins /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
  19. Before district starts this Friday, I'll go on and make my season predictions. 1.Lawrence County- Can't see anyone but Shelbyville challenging them this year. Everything is clicking early on this year and can only see them getting better. 2.Shelbyville-May make a run for first but I have them at second to finish the season. With two good players hurt early it could effect there first few games this season. 3.Columbia-Saw them play last week and even though they were playing a weak team they did look like they played good ball and might even pull an upset on one of the top two teams in district this year. 4.Franklin County-Playing strong ball so far this year even though they haven't played the greatest teams yet. Still predicting they'll finish strong this year and may have a chance at third from Columbia. Haven't got to see them play yet this year though so i'm just going on what i've read. 5.Lincoln County-Ok team but not near as strong as last year. Some bad losses already this year doesn't look promising for the rest of the year. 6.Coffee County-I haven't heard a lot about this team so this prediction could be way off but i'm sticking with it. They have already lost by 21 to Marshall County this year in their first game. Probably won't be a very strong team though. 7.Tullahoma-Team thats getting better but still nowhere close to everyone else. They should end up with a win or two in district but still not ready to compete in a district this competitive. They are showing good hope though for the future so good luck to them.
  20. I really don't think Lincoln County will be that strong this year. I honestly think the third team in district will be Columbia. Even though I haven't seen Lincoln County play, I heard from people who were at the Loretto Lincoln County game and said that Lincoln County did not play good at all. I did get a chance to see Columbia play this weekend at the Thanksgiving Tournament and they did play well. They play Lawrence County at Columbia coming up Friday. Should be a good game to see how things may play out in the year.
  21. I just heard Lincoln Co. got beat by Loretto tonight anyone got stats or anything
  22. All i've heard is perspective from the players. And that was that Angela and Jordyn both played good games. sorry i can't help you with anything else.
  23. Lawrence County has a great Sophomore in Jordyn Luffman who will be even more improved this year. Also they are returning Anglea Spann, Hannah Smith, and Katie Hill who all had good years last year. They won both their games this weekend at their playday against 2 good teams.
  24. Definetly think Tullahome will be an improvement from last year. They should get a win or two in district. I've heard a lot of good things about the freshman group from last year so maybe they will also show improvement. Also we will see how a new coach adjusts to the system. I say they still finish last in district but definetly moving in the right direction /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />
