  1. McNairy Central always has a very energetic and crowd-pleasing show.
  2. Browder is not the JV QB but the receivers and part of the line were not starters. And all this stuff about how the turnovers would change the game...of course they would. Turnovers are just as much a part of football as touchdowns and field goals. It takes a defense to cause turnovers. I'm not saying McNairy is great, but they are in for a good season. They have a ton of things to work on before they head to the playoffs but I know that Coach Browder will get them where they need to be.
  3. Did you watch the same game I did? The first half was a battle but after McNairy got their heads on straight, it got ugly. And those two scores you are talkin about....that was McNairy's JV. The tailback is fine. This a very underestimated team and I think they are in store for a great season.
  4. This Friday night Fayette Ware travels to Selmer to take on McNairy. Last year, FW stunned the Bobcats and won the rights to the fourth playoff spot in this game. Who's gonna take it? My Prediction: McNairy by a TD.
  5. McNairy in a blowout. 34-6 Reece will run for 2, Browder will throw for 2, and the defense will take one in.
  6. Why you hatin on the Bobcats? And I've had a change of heart. I say McNairy takes the region with Southside in second, Lexington in third, and Liberty sittin 4th.
  7. Here's my predictions: 1. McNairy Central 2. Southside 3. Lexington 4. Liberty Region 6-3A should be very exciting to watch this year seeing as everyone lost a lot of talent. No one really knows what to expect. I put McNairy on top because of the returning QB Browder and RB Reece. I think this dynamic duo can put the Bobcats back on top.
  8. The Bobcats will bounce back this year. This team's got a lot of heart and discipline. I'm predicting a reverse of last year's record (7-3).
  9. RB Thomas Reece from McNairy Central. He should turn some heads in West TN.
  10. Those former players that you mention are the ones that lost all heart and pride last year and did nothing. They just don't want to see a team that should be worse beat their record. McNairy has a lot of heart this year and a lot of players that love to play the game. I don't think they will win the region but they will most definitely make the playoffs.
  11. I have a friend that marches with the Cavaliers and he says that the Cavs are going to be awesome this year. He also said that Phantom will be a major force this year. So...I have got to say Phantom wins it again on the 10th anniversary.
  12. Yes...you deserve to play at your place, but at the same time, DCA is far from a neutral site. It's only a 20-30 minute drive. McNairy has to come about 2 and a half hours. So settle down, you still should have a home court advantage. But at the same time, we are bringing a crowd so be ready to make some noise.
  13. I don't, but I've gotta support my team. I'm not gonna say the Lady Bobcats are gonna lose because I believe that they want it bad and that they will come out ready to play.
  14. Nobody around here knows much about FRA. But I've gotta say that McNairy Central will be fired up and ready to go after the Harpeth game. I say McNairy by 4. McNairy Central 66 Franklin Road 62
  15. For real lol. The only person I'm mad at is the one referee who made tons of terrible calls both ways. I think that if the game would have been allowed to play itself out, then it would have been a lot closer and McNairy would have walked away with the region championship in a very close game. But, the past is what it is and we can't change it so it's time to look forward. Good luck Harpeth, ya'll are a good team. LETS GO LADY BOBCATS!
  16. Last time I checked, our girls are playing in a sub-state game. So...no, you did not pack our bags and send us home. And our girls are fired up now so watch out whoever we play next (it will be decided tonight).
  17. I know this excuse is used all of the time...but the referees were HORRIBLE. They made terrible calls both ways. In the second half it hurt McNairy bad enough that I truly think the refs played a role in the outcome of the game. Nothing against Harpeth (yall are a great team) but I think that without all of the momentum that the zebras gave to you, McNairy would have walked out with the win. From reading several posts and watching the game tonight, I think the TSSAA really needs to look into their officiating problems. Good Luck to both teams in their substate games.
  18. Yeah, It's gonna take some amazing defense to win this one. And I agree, Ken Bingham is an amazing player.
  19. Do the bobcats stand a chance in this one? I've gotta support my boys and say that they do have a chance. Both times we've played Liberty, it has been close going into the fourth and then we have a bad fourth quarter. I say Ken Bingham has another great game and gets alot of help from the three senior starters and McNairy Central pulls off the biggest upset of the year. McNairy 57 Liberty 55 P.S...I know I'm gonna catch a lot of crap for even thinking that we could win, so let me hear it.
  20. I'm pretty sure they were talking about no. 10 from Lexington.
  21. I say McNairy by 10 McNairy 55 Southside 45
  22. Yeah...you are very right on everything you said...but I've gotta support my team. It will take an amazing game from not only Ken (yes he is just a junior) but from the whole team to even have a chance at taking down Liberty. Hopefully they will come in overconfident and we will give them a run. GO BOBCATS!
  23. Here's my predictions for Tuesday night. Bolivar 73 Sycamore 69 McNairy 57 Liberty 55 OT in the biggest upset all year.
  24. I just want to say great game by the McNairy Central Bobcats. This is the kind of basketball that I've been waiting on this team to play all year. Ken Bingham was unstoppable and this team finally put together four good quarters of basketball. So SmoothJuker...I'm counting on you to keep us updated on all the weeknight sitcoms while you're sitting at home eating all your leftover pie. It's a shame that the almighty Lexington Tigers couldn't make it past the first round in their own house. Better luck next year...Oh wait, the Little General graduates.(Good luck on gettin those 20 wins without him)
  25. mccheercoach...I agree. The student section was non-existent tonight. But at the same time, at least we showed up all year. This is the best that the student section has been in a while and we've shown support all year long. If it weren't for us, I believe we would have lost 3-4 more games this year and I believe our Lady Cats would have had a little more trouble with Chester County. So...you can criticize us all you want to but I believe we deserve some respect for supporting the teams all year.
