  1. Coulter sounds like a Maryville last name. Marsh, Bledsoe, Love, Henry, Tyson. Those sound like Alcoa names.
  2. Some facts are correct, some are a little off. Trust me, Govman knows the situation. He came to MHS from Burns, NC not to be confused with Byrnes, SC.
  3. Player movement Jeff Miner, Hardin Valley Academy: "In Knox County, one of the biggest things is just keeping players. Players in this county go all over the place. Regardless of where they live go to schools across the county or down the road or whatever. I think the biggest challenge in Knox County — we have three private schools that sit in our zone you know. We’re bordered by some really good programs so one of the biggest challenges for us is keeping all the kids that live in Hardin Valley,"
  4. Technically it would be libel. Slander is the spoken word. Libel is the written word. Also, truth is defense of both. If it is the truth, it is not slander/libel. Note: That still doesn't make it nice. John 8:7
  5. You look good in that Maryville jersey. 3 year letterman was made in Maryville.
  6. Twin City is HUGE! Blount County businesses have been supporting all the schools for years, I think they should go into this slowly. Michael Jordan said, "Republicans buy sneakers too". Well, Mountaineers, Governors, and Cherokees buy cars too.
  7. Some of these out of state games are closer than William Blount's Region games.
  8. I don't want to speak for MTF, but it seemed to me that he was being facetious.
  9. We've got at least three still playing D-1. We should have reclassified a few in preschool.
  10. THE PART WHERE HE CALLED HIM LEVEL HEADED!
  11. Most people don't really know where the line is. Over in Plainfield, off of Lincoln Road, the trash cans change color from green to maroon in the middle of some streets.
  12. Can some of the Fightin' Wamplers give us the scoop?
  13. They have 1931 as a 6-6 tie. My records have it as a 6-0 MHS win. They may have entered it wrong because 1932 on the site and my records was a 6-6 tie.
