MoronTot: Maryville High School has been know by three previous nicknames — Red Elephants, Crimson Whirlwind, and The Red and Black — prior to 1936 when the school became known as the Rebels in response to sanctions brought against the football program. Maryville High was suspended in 1935 from playing any teams in Tennessee as a result of using two “illegal” players in the previous season, according to an Aug. 27, 2004, story. Its current name is attributed to a comment made by then-Coach Dean Bailey, who said his team was a bunch of rebels against the Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association.

I knew better than to take your parking advice. We just paid the $4 and parked real close. It was easy to get out too. Next year at Maryville, all of the parking for the Bradley game will be $8. Gotta recoup some revenue.

I say we have the exact same Districts as basketball with 4 classes. As for privates, there is another board on the T for them.

I blocked that person a week or so ago. It makes my time on the T much more enjoyable.

WB did that for a few years when the home fans were out of control. JC, WB and Heritage must have hired the same stadium designer. At least WB and Heritage don't face into the sun.
