Didn't they end the game with :02 left on the clock after the ordeal? Due to the strange ending, this was not a normal game due to the circumstances of the 4th down play. I think everyone involved had some % of the issues that occurred, no one is 100% at fault, and certainly no one is 0% at fault. It is what it is....deal with it.

Wow, the kids from Henry Co were wanting that challenge after the torching he gave us last year. Henry Co wishes Jalen Hurd a speedy recovery and a great career at UT. This injury affects Beech in even a bigger way on defense, in my opinion. Beech will still score a bunch of points, but now that threat on defense is gone, and some teams may score 50.

Last year Jalen Hurd ran in front of the bus back to Sumner Co. He was well oiled and full of gasoline, especially with that Senior line he had last year. I see him having another solid game this year, but thankfully, playing at home,he won't have to carry the bus back to town. I see him getting hit alot this year, and breaking tackles, and getting hit some more. The last 2 5A state champions will tangle, and it shoud be a good game. This is just the appetizer before the November 29th meeting...

Now DevilFanatic....who was the girl that moved in after being a stud at RBS or somewhere like that? What about 7 footer that never really panned out. Places that win dont have to recruit, besides if ya aint trying to recruit, your not playing the game these days! Everybody does it in some form or fashion.... (sing to the oak rigde boys tune) All the gold In Jackson Co is in a bank in the middle of Gainsboro In Buddy Browns name so if your dreamin about go-old balls it dont matter at all what ya think is true Jackson County is a whole new game

The only change that needs to be made is in district tournaments. Take the top 3 finishers....make that 3rd place game mean something, so that there is less "jockeying" for position for the region tournament. region 2 vs 3 matchups and the #1 are in region semis. Makes the district championship mean something, gives them a bye, and the consolation mean something, season ending game for someone. I like the region championship loser going somewhere else, but i think maybe that should rotate some how...some years region 1 vs 3 and 2 vs 4, and 1 vs 4 and 2 vs 3, etc Keep 1-4 on one side and 5 vs 8 on the other and rotate thru every 3 years.... 2 best teams are sometimes in the same region, and when those teams meet again in the state finals....it is a huge deal for those communities, building FOREVER Rivalries!

In elementary school they teach you to use a period. It is the little dot like these.......use them!

Any chance that you could get Memphis to become its own state? That would be great for all Tennesseans!

Who in that side of the state would do something like this? Can't do it at TN Tech in Cookeville unless the University doesn't own the gym, which I suspect they do. NAIA school between Cookeville and Nashville that I can't think of that could host such an event? Could do a every other year sort of thing with teams that want to commit to play for 2 years.

The Bell girl from Gleason is already a senior? I thought she was a sophomore or junior. Wow, time flies!!!!

Heard Covington, Haywood Ripley were going to 15AA.... My ten teams north of I40 would be: A: Union City, Gibson Co, Gleason, South Fulton, Greenfield, Lake Co AA: Westview, Dyersburg, Obion Co (lose alot) D2: USJ District 12A is not very far from this area...some solid programs over there too CreekWood Dickson Co Rossview all close too, and should be really good next year.
