Guys, i am excited about this game. I am hoping for a old fashioned 2003/2004 type of game on the field. Last year Huntingdon had early success against Milan with the passing game and gave a pretty good fight. Do we see that again tomorrow??? Not sure.. I am excited to see how the freshman under center will perform, this will be a HUGE test for him. I hate that Milan is experiencing with injuries. I really wanted Milan at their best to be able to see how our team would fare. Obviously, Huntingdon will run off tackle most of the night, Milan killed us with their screens last year. Our pass defense is always a weakness and we are young in that aspect! Anyways just food for thought! Prediction: OVERTIME: Huntingdon 29 Milan- 28

I’m feeling a little more confident in The Mustangs chances tonight .. call me crazy but I’m thinking this could be a 14-7 type of game.

Opening week is finally here! Huntingdon’s defense looked really sharp and FAST in the jamboree. Offense not so impressive but we only ran 5 different plays so can’t really judge that just yet. We will learn a lot about both teams this week. Right now I give the advantage to McKenzie but I think this is going to be a war.. which QB will separate themselves from the other, Pearson ( sophomore) or Eubanks (freshman ).. can huntingdon improve the special teams This year or do we put them in the 40 every possession like last year?? We will find out Friday night! pressing for safety and health this week!

Huntingdon isn't a top 5 team yet. They have ALOT of work and improvement to do on the offense before they are a contender in 2A right now. The biggest question mark is how will they respond offensively without the usual talent in the backfield they have had in years past. I can honestly say and I mean this with a whole lot of love to our boys in blue... BUT our backfield was not up to par this year. Could be the worst that I've seen in a long time. They played HARD but TALENT wise we were way down. Kaleb Pearson(brother of KADE) will be a sophomore and is my guess on the QB position. Tayshawn Rivers another sophomore will be RB and then its wide open. It will be another rebuilding year for the OLINE as most of the line last year were starters.. LOTS of unknowns this year. With our schedule this year it could be rough for us Mustangs.

Can’t wait until Friday night. just to add to the thread, I personally believe that Moore county has the better athletes but I just don’t think their O line can handle our D line. I’m going to say this game is close and we pull away in the 4th with a final score of: huntingdon -36 moore-22

Moore county makes the 3 hour drive to Huntingdon next Friday. Both teams seem to be playing their best ball tonight. Huntingdon rushed for 420 yards against Cornersville and Moore county shut out Wayne county tonight I am expecting a WAR. I am concerned about our pass Defense. Not sure Moore county can stop Huntington’s offense so this game might be a high scoring game. I’ll save my prediction for later on in the week after watching some film.

If Huntingdon comes to Wayne county with the same mistakes they made against Collinwood, we lose this game. Wayne county will bring their A game and we will have to as well if we want to walk away with the win.. I’m expecting a low scoring game similar to the bruceton game.. I’ll go 16 -12 with huntingdon winning. any recommendations on restaurants to stop at for supper??

Ugly win for the mustangs tonight, but a win is a win! Huntington rolls into Camden on Friday night with a 2-1 record against a winless Camden team. Huntingdon has a really good defense but has a offense that has really failed to find some consistency In the running game. I’ll save a prediction on the score for later in the week , in the meantime these two teams are very old rivals and these 2 teams do not like each other at all. Thoughts???
