Since I work with so many guys from Hartsville, I normally save my trash talk for TC only; but I will make an exception for this game. After watching our team practice, grow, and play better over the course of the year, I believe that Friendship CAN beat SM Friday night. Signal can talk all the want about the MERCY rule being put in effect nine out of ten games....but in the end the only team they didn't MERCY rule is the only real team they played, SP. Before someone from SM comments about our weak schedule..."I KNOW." Now, I didn't say that we WOULD beat SM; I said we COULD....that the outcome lies with the players and coaches. Hopefully our coach will not cost us another victory (ie. TC). As for all the TC fans on here talking it up and supporting us...WHY? When have TC fans EVER cared about us at Friendship? Just the other night your fans and PLAYERS were at our game mocking and trash talking the players and FANS during the game. I think I know why you are so willing to root for us....your SCARED that you might actually have to play SM; your SCARED that that pretty little record might me in jeopardy if you do have play SM. So thanks, but no thanks for your support! Go Commanders!!

I hate to defend TC, but to say that they had anything to do with the multiplier going into effect is preposterous. This is the dumbest argument I have heard against TC, and it has been going on since they moved back to 1A. Give it a rest!!

Predictions: If Watertown wins FC vs. 4th seed = FC wins easily Gville vs. LV = Gville wins easily H20 vs. SP = SP wins easily TC vs. Temple = TC wins then FC vs. SP = FC wins Gville vs. TC = TC wins then FC vs. TC = FC Predictions: If Monterey wins FC vs 4th seed = FC wins easily TC vs LV = TC wins easily Gville vs SP = Gville wins Monterey vs. Temple = Temple then FC vs Gville = FC TC vs Temple = TC *Again just my opinions.... then TC vs. FC = FC

FC comes out fast. Too much speed for TC to compete with this year. The secondary of TC is too vulnerable to stop the passing game and big plays FC is capable of making! FC - 28 TC - 14

From the way TC played in the jamboree against Westmoreland....they are in for a long night Friday. Atleast Macon Co. gave effort against a bigger, stronger, faster Wilson Central team; I didn't see much of that from TC the other night!!

This will be one of Trousdale's 4 losses this regular season. Macon Smith Gordonsville Friendship The talent pool has been drained in Trousdale for a while. I just don't see TC being able to compete with these other schools on their schedule.

I am from Friendship and even I am sick of hearing about this!! TC is good, but they can be beaten. This is the year for FCS!!

Section 8 of the TSSAA Handbook addresses this situation. As long as the student is enrolled in the school--high school--they can play as an eighth grader.

Trousdale County Here is a portion of the article from the newspaper in Johnson City: "For Hampton, the inability to move the football on the ground slowed the Bulldogs’ offense to a grinding halt. Running back Adam Townsend had a hard time finding room on the outside and fullback Jonathon Potter didn’t have much luck running inside." Not to mention TC had 410 total yards of offense...300 of which was rushing. Don't feel too bad; they did the same to us last year too.

What? I am a FCS fan but to say that we should have knocked them off last year. The playoff game was only close of the scoreboard. We had two LUCKY plays that allowed us to score. They ran the ball on us all night...look at the numbers! Now that being said, TC was great last year, and they can compete this year. They don't have some of the key ingredients to make a championship run. FCS does!! So yes, TC will continue to dominate the game of football; they just might not win a ring every year. TC goes 12-2 this year! Both losses coming from FCS!!

Rickaway was NOT an eighth grader last year. He will be a junior this coming season. Friendship did have a #22 that played some last year, and he was in the eighth grade.

Not Everyone's!!

This sounds so familiar...oh yeah! Last year there was this team called Hampton that walked around thumping their chest in the offseason saying how they were ready and going to run the ball down everyone's throat. Sounds very familiar to this situation. I will also bet that the same result will happen. Some team somewhere will SHUT YOU up!!
