I like these 4 teams alot Jackson CO. Clarkrange Gleason Forrest But you could add several other teams but this is my top 4 to start the season

Heard last night that the Head Coach stepped down and will not coach the rest of the season. Do not know who will take over at Coalfield my guess would be Coach Henry. Best of luck the rest of the season.

Coalfield will come to understand after this week practice will start getting much harder I believe the Dogs will give their new coach his first win and what a win this will make their season even if they do not win another this season. I like Coalfield but I do not see them in the top half of the region this year. Coach Kries will have his work cut out for him and his staff this season this team does not seem to mesh like the past several teams has. Best of luck to both teams this season.

I see Coalfield placing 4th in the district this year behind Oneida,Harriman and Midway. Coalfield will have a good line but I do not see the running backs take over a game like the davis kid did and they will have to because they are in trouble with no QB

Oakdale got a new coach. I do not know about Sunbright I did hear somebody say he was intersted in the Wartburg job but I do not see that happening. I hope he stays at Subright he has done a good job there.

Any new on a coach yet I hope they are smart enough to give this job to an outsider not someone that has been with this program for the last few years.

What is Coalfield schedule this year?

If the new school does not have football or some other sports what school's could they play for?

If Adam D. is the QB it will be a long season for the running backs because they will not be able to throw the ball he is to small and slow.

He might go 3rd round but I do not see him playing in the NBA very long believe his future is in Coaching some where.

Do they not play in a gym. How many games do they play each day and throught out the week.

They should be good in their district because it is down. But I do not see a trip back to the Boro because they have no post players that will take over a game when their star is taking a break.

If this is true it would be a very good move for her. And I know all of the distict 4a would be so happy for her.haha This would really hurt OZ next few years though but she would be exposed more at Webb and she would get the ring for sure. Either way I wish her all the best next 2 years.

I do not understand why they took 2 games away from Basketball instead of playing a game they will just practice. If they wanted to do something why not just limit practice time's or days instead of games. Most coaches will have 3 hours of practice 5 to 6 days a week as soon as their season starts to me that would had made more sense than cutting 2 games out but it is the TSSAA. They need to understand that 2 games means alot of money to these schools even the small schools that do not have the funding that some of the bigger schools have. And the 50% rule how in the world are they going to know unless someone tells on a kid. Then you are going to have TSSAA filled with reports and do you really think they are going to go out and check on all of the reports. NO I think the TSSAA means well but they need to think things through before they take action. If they know of coaches crossing the lines during the off season then they need to check them out and not take it out on all of the schools that do it the right way. This 50% rule I believe will only hurt small schools that now if they want to play during the off season they will have to have their parents drive them 1-3 hours away so they can play and practice.

I would love to see this come to Tennessee you would still have your state champs in each class this would be best over all. More TV coverage for kids to get also

I think Coalfield post players are as good as any in their distict with Stedam,Scarbrough and Walls Wartburg will have some good ones in Branstetter and Lavender and Bunch Oakdale has O'Dell and Peace OZ and Oneida and Sunbright will have to wait and see.

I would like for him to take over the Wartburg job if it every come's open. I thnik he could get the program turned around and get the fans back in the stands.

Until they get a new coach that wants to realy coach and teach kids they game and how to win I am afraid it will be another 0-10 season. But watching the sports program at Wartburg I fill that the only sport they are backing is their boy basketball team!!!!!!!!!!!!!
