This whole season is just getting uglier and uglier. They've got to pull of a win against McNairy or Milan, if they don't they will probably go 0-22. I feel bad for the kids that are playing hard to get wins.

I'm looking forward to this baseball season. Lexington returns a lot of talent and should be one of the best teams in AA. I'm not making any predictions though, I think I jinxed the football and basketball teams.

If he was taller he would have been a 4* recruit. G. Corie Johnson, Hardin Co. If someone can shoot the ball better than Corie could in high school, I would like to see it. He set national records. F Larry Fry, Lexington. An All American. Averaged over 30 points a game, WITHOUT A 3 POINT LINE. F Kirk Hastings, Perry Co. If he was good enough for Bob Knight to fly down to Perry Co., then he is good enough for me. C You had the right pick. Doug Atkins is a legend in West Tennessee. People still talk about how he was the best player they've ever saw.

Desean Jackson! You beat me to it. He should fall in th middle or late picks of round round, we be great if we could pick him. Another free agent that just got cleared to play.....AL WILSON. I would love to see him at MLB now that he is finally healthy. He loves this state, he comes back to church in Jackson for Easter and Christmas. Might as well keep him here. If he is as healthy as they say he is, then he is a Pro-Bowl player. Pacman is no where close to being what Deion Sanders was. I don't care if he gets his head on straight, gets out of trouble, and decides to teach Sunday School, he will never be on that level. The San Diego Charges have the closest DB to Deion Sanders.

Just about everybody has been named. One name I didn't see was Larry Fry from Lexington.

I'm a FSUMemphis fan. I have plenty of images and animations to poke fun at UT and Florida. I post in the FSU and Memphis message boards, I find plenty on there. If I see one that I like, I usually grab it.

Hopefully Memphis. I would hate to see us lose another one to Duke.

I think that would be a great move. He called good ball games with McNair at QB. A lot depends on how hard VY works this off season. He should look at this season and realize that talent can only take a person so far. He made huge strides between his sophomore and junior seasons at Texas, I hope he gets going on the right track here. A lot of people ,including me, question his toughness. Do any of you guys?

I hate he had to hear the news like that. But, he didn't try to hide the fact that he was wanting to go in a different direction also. I think he did the best he could with what he had to work with. But thats just my opinion.

Southside beat Lexington 67-44. Its been a tough year, I'm hoping that they start to get it going in the right direction. They have a good player in Deshaun Kizer, he could be one of the better players in the district over his next 2 years at LHS. If the other sophomores learn from this year and step up their game a little bit Lexington might be back in the hunt for a 3 or 4 seed next year. Especially if they can get Hehe back and Fry back for his senior year.

I agree with your seedings. Bolivar is looking like the only real strong team in this district this year.

That ally op that Miller threw last night was a highlight on Sports Center this morning.

Camden and Lexington are fighting it out to not be the bottom team in 12AA. Doesn't matter if the move was approved or not. At the most Camden would have to give up 4 wins,......... Whoopdie Doo.

I was at the double header that had Memphis vs MTSU and UT vs Western Kentucky. In the first game you had Kemp, Pierre Niles, and Andre Allen for Memphis along with Yates, Broderick Gilchrest, Nigel Johnson, Theryn Hudson and Sain for MTSU. Then Chism, Tyler Smith, and J.P. Prince took the floor for UT.

Yep, couldn't agree more. Do you think they will finally try and change his throwing motion? If the pass isn't batted down, its usually high. They have to find some way to fix that. I also think they should pick up another QB or use a very late pick on someone like Matt Flynn. A little competition wouldn't hurt Vince. He knows Collins is not ever goign to be the starter as long as he is healthy, another QB threat might help push him along.

I'm glad to see he got in there. I was scared that we wouldn't because he is in San Francisco. He's leading the league in tackles right now as a rookie with 142. Theres no way anyone should get Defensive Rookie of the Year over him. I think he should get some votes for Defensive Player of the Year.

Looks like Bolivar is a step above everybody else in this district right now. This district has always had dominating teams at the 1 and 2 spots. With the loss of Liberty it looks like this year might be different. McNairy had a nice win early against region foe Harpeth, but they haven't impressed as of late. Chester Co. is putting together a nice season, and they may end up in a battle with Southside for that second spot. But, I don't think either team will challenge Bolivar. Lexington and Camden might are really lower than anyone expected. They may split district wins, but thats about it for those two this year.

I remember when we were pretty dang bad. But since then Lexington has put together some real solid ball clubs. I can't ever remember having this many lopsided losses though. Maybe they can get it together after the break. I don't know what happened to Fry and Hehe. I used to talk with Josh pretty regularly, but I haven't seen him here lately. Those are two guys we need back on the court.

Yeah I just heard. They said it was by 20 points. Has Lexington ever lost to Scotts Hill twice in a season? The Scotts Hill folks are telling me that it had been 19 years since they have beat us. Now all of a sudden we are they are beating us by 20? I can't remember us losing to Milan in the last 10 years, they beat us by 30 I think. Whats wrong with Lexington? I know they have a young team, but Scotts Hill doesn't have a senior on the team. This is really hard to believe we have fallen this hard.

Does anyone know the score of the game between Scotts Hill and Lexington last night? It wasn't in the Jackson Sun and nobody has put it in on this scoreboard either.

I didn't mean anything negative by my post. Matter of fact I tried to contact you through PM on another message board to tell you that and explain where I was coming from. I told you before that you are well respected around here, I meant no disrespect at all.

I agree FTT. I think we as fans have grown up and passed the whole black qb/white qb thing. The media however will not let it go. I bet anything Vince buys into that media B.S. Heck, we all know Donavan McNabb does. I think Vince feels he needs to prove he is a pocket passer....well he's not. He was a proven winner before he got drafted. Fisher stated that difference between the Titans drafting Vince, Lienart, and Cutler was Young's legs. Here's a saying that I've heard for a long time, "do what you do". He can't be anybody but Vince. Not Brady or Vick, I hope he gets back to being him. His first two years at Texas were mediocre at best. I hope these is the worst we will see out of him. The Titans have but together some nice pieces, they just need their star to step up right now.

I have tremendous respect for Galiee. But man if you thought he had an attitude before, wait until he reads this thread.
